Hi All,
Came across this hand while at a 1/2 table the other day - not sure what to do w/ river...obv Shove, Bet, Check is available but what is best route and why.
Final Villain - Weaker player, wins money at 1/2 but obviously not well round. Will splash around and I found later on he bluff IP on river scare cards. I am also a aggro player in my opponents eyes.
See Hand History below, and please let me know best route to take:

I have come across an interesting spot, that we all have, and would like some input on what you feel I should do in this spot.
Hero SB (stack: 12k) Villain Button (7.5k) Blinds are 150/300
Folds to Villain on Button he raises to 900(large sizing, comparative to other raises).
I'm in SB with AK and make it 1,935 (is sizing okay? generally i 3 bet more but wanted to induce a weak shove) Button calls 3 bet.
Flop comes 952 rainbow. I bet 1525 into button who ships for 5k more.
I call he flips A9 off.
Should I bet that flop with his stack sizing? I say yes normally but would like some input.
IF he had a similar stack with 9k behind after pre flop call would you bet same or would you check flop?
Player has been splashing around calling very light

I have cerntainly never played 5/10/25 plo so you got me there....but i have played a good amount of HU and 6 max plo online and some live 10 handed 1/2 only tho, and have certainty folded sets in plo...like i said is 2277dd a profitable hand to play from ep(10 handed)?
Then my real question is with no draws hitting and just calling the flop on a draw heavy board and a brick on the turn....is folding bottom set the profitable play? I really don't know...
If you c/r flop and he pots then do you fold or would you call if you thought he had Ac.Ax.Xc.Xx? I would like to know from a high stakes thought process
I hope you made the right play and certainly meant no disrespect from my comment

I don't understand why you would play 2277dd from ep in a 10 handed game and then fold the only 2 hands you want to hit: a set of 7's or 2's.
Does polarizing your hand by just calling on the flop thats a draw heavy board change any hand ranges, given the information provided? Does aces ever make this bet or top two?

Great Video, I really enjoyed the insight....Can you post your results for the next video? With time played, hands played, rake payed, also maybe with some equity charts?

You should make these "blast from the past" videos available for essential members as well...it would probably drive more recreational players to your site...especially since 99$ is a little much for the average human being....and it might entice the 10$ members to want the 99$ membership more seeing how you are playing your hands
Sick line by villain... I think when he c/c flop you can eliminate any sets on flop and also top two. W/ 4%3b overall it seems his range is quite small and many AA's and KK's are in play here. Do you kno his BB 3b%? It seems he at the least has a 7 and could correctly push you off a straight; also the 5 does not really hit his range...your river bet looks weak imo and does not look like full house value bet and you left yourself plenty of fold equity w/ that bet; i'm assuming he knew that if bluffing. Next time, I would be 60-75% which would remove any bluffs as you are putting yourself in a bad spot on river. If this is a nitty reg I would fold but if you have very little history and they seem to be splashy, you can call.
