Curious how others make a plan to go after Regs they run into a lot. These two below I see at the tables pretty often and they play drastically different styles:
Reg 1 - Big Winner at these Stakes - Does not seem to get out of line very much and plays pretty solid all around from my experience.
23/18
RFI - Early/MP 21 - CO 19 - BTN - 38
3bet - 9
Fold to 3bet - 50
CB 55-63 (OP/IP)
Fold to Cbet 62 -25 (OP-IP)
Turn Cbet 67/56 (OP/IP)
Fold to Turn Cbet 50
3bet Pot Cbet - 74 (bets 25%ish pot on Flop and usually large on Turn)
Fold to Cbet 3bet Pot - 40
Reg 2 - Comes off like a maniac but tends to be a solid post flop player. Not a world beater at stakes I play but difficult to handle and is a regular at stakes a few levels up as well.
41/31
RFI - Early/MP 23 - CO 37 - BTN -71
3bet - 15
Fold to 3bet - 30
CB 77-81 (OP/IP)
Fold to Cbet 53-46 (OP-IP)
Turn Cbet 54-55 (OP/IP)
Fold to Turn Cbet 50
3bet Pot Cbet - 81 bet sizes vary
Fold to Cbet 3bet Pot - 37

I have returned to playing poker after a few years off, and was looking for some feedback on my stats to see if anything stands out as a glaring leak or something I need to work on. The sample size isn't very big, but I definitely think I am too tight right now. Please see stats below and let me know if you have any thoughts.

Thank you Shaun, I appreciate you taking the time to write this out. I will watch your video today. For low stakes, is there an approach that you would prioritize for solver studying?

Hello - I have GTO+ but to be honest I am not really sure how to go about effectively setting it up to review certain situations I come across when playing. I would like to be able to dedicate some time to studying, but am in over my head on how to actually set it up. Can someone direct me to videos or a write-up on how to go about doing this? Some of the situations I would like to dive into are:
- 3bet/Call from the blinds vs LP opens and then subsequent flops
- Cbets OOP in a SRP as the initial raiser
- Flatting 3bets by the blinds from my own LP opens and then subsequent flops
As the player pool I play in is rather limited (you will see the same Regs at multiple stake levels, it would also be nice to use GTO+ to develop strategies against particular individuals given how often we cross paths.
I would really appreciate any guidance, thank you.
For Reg 1 - Noted and will implement. I've noticed he prefers to Cbet often but uses real small sizing and then usually large on turns.
For Reg 2 (or Rec if you prefer :D) on raising cbets, what kind of hands are we raising with (TP, 2nd Pair vs FD, OESD) or are we just challenging him across the board with anything with equity?
For 4 betting more often, do you prefer Linear range to start and see how he reacts? TT+, AJs+, AQo+? Is that too tight a 4bet range against someone like this?
Thank you!
