BTN is a somewhat solid 1/2 zoom reg that I probably see on nearly everyday. He has a decently wide button opening range, but does seem to play much more straight forward postflop especially in 3 bet pots.

At the time, I thought that checking was the best option, but now I realise against a straightforward opponent I can easily just bet for value, and my hand is definitely strong enough to call a reraise esp since we are over 200bb ef on flop.

Thanks for the input Bryan, really appreciate it. Flop should be a fold. I never really considered shoving the turn but your analysis makes sense. Villain 2 ended up showing the Qc and 8d leaving me reason to believe he had a set of 8's or even a double fd hand similar to mine. That made me really think whether it was possible to consider calling the river as played.

I definitely agree folding flop is the most optimal play with players behind. At the time I just felt I had a strong read on my opponent (bet sizing tells/live tells) and that I would be able to manouvre around on turns. I forgot to add that he has lead out 3 times into me before that and just check given up on turns, that being said I do understand this is different since he's leading out into more people.

25/25/50 PLO
UTG+1: HERO ($6750) Ac9cJd7d
MP: Villain 1 ($5000) - passive station
BB: Villain 2 ($15,000) - weird bad fish
I open $125, 5 callers
Flop ($750) Kd4d8c
BB leads $500, I call, MP calls.
Turn ($2250) 7c
BB leads POT ($2250), I tank call, MP tank calls.
River ($6750) As
BB casually puts us all in, HERO (~$3900)?
Game has been going on for 4-5 hours, been more on solid side than loose (no spewing). Villain 2 has very high tendencies of leading out for 2/3 pot with wide range on flop. Not 100% sure of turn range for full pot
but it is very possible he could have strong draws (similar to mine), sets or possibly even 2 pairs.
Villain 2 does understand that we are most likely draw heavy here by flatting on the turn and that Villain 1 is most likely folding river. Does this make him more likely to bluff? And do i still beat a lot of 2 pair type hands?

Hi guys,
Ive been playing poker for a few years and what i havent done and realise i need to do to improve my game is to post hands and discuss hands much more frequently online. I have no ideas about progams used and how to post properly. That being said, I was wondering if any of you guys know what programs that i can use to enter in hands i've played in live poker to make it in a more easy, convenient and readable format?

What about getting into another game? i.e PLO! It will really open up your mind to new concepts which can definitely help in NLHE mtts and NLHE cash. i'd also discuss alot of hands with other well respected players/friends. Lastly, for motivational purposes, setting out goals and even competitive side bets with friends can also really help!

Love the response! I forgot to mention that at the time he actually hit the time bank on the flop then he checked - maybe that was a possible tell? Normally I would say this reg would shut down on this river because I'm pretty sure he knows my range on this river and for him to bet this big made me feel like I could make an exploitable fold, or maybe I just out-leveled myself. Anyway, concensus says 3 bet turn which I definitely like.
