What great words!

You already know my admiration for you, for how you see the game, for how you face your coaches from a technical level that few have.

Without being biased by belonging to Metagame, I think that both you and Zinhao or Tirelli can awaken "monsters" in poker. It is demonstrated with examples of players who had a Before and After of your and their individual coachings.

Within Metagame one aspires to have that privilege, among the many others we have.

Without going any further, I invite people to watch the videos of Saulo in RIO, which were my initial kick to want to be and belong to the team.

my friend! nice way to start the year .. and with what commitment!
As a teammate I will always be present and I will accompany you in this process of transforming you (and transforming us) every day into a better poker player.

I think you have the setmind to establish yourself at high limits and undoubtedly being part of BRPC will pave the way and help us fulfill our dreams and goals .. Remember, it always depends on us!

my like goes anyway knowing that I can't participate :). It is very great what you are doing Patrick, I am very grateful for it.

Hello to the entire RIO community!

I'll just tell you that yesterday I had my coaching session that I won in the FreeNachos giveaway on this blog :).

First of all I would like to thank Patrick because he is selflessly doing these things for the community and it is something to highlight without a doubt.

I also have to highlight this that continues to speak of the generosity of FreeNachos.
We agreed to 1 hour of coaching that lasted approximately 2 hours 20 minutes ... so imagine my joy and happiness :)

About me: I currently play NL25 at Pokerstars / Bodog and have been a member of BRPC Micro Team for 3 months.
My Coachs are STEVE PAUL (ESSENTIAL PRO) and the CEO is MAX LACERDA (ESSENTIAL PRO).

About coaching:
We got in touch and he has sent me a calendar where I can choose the day and time according to availability.
He request the hands of my last 2-3 months to prepare the class.

When the class started, he had a working excel of all the sequences (SRP IP, OOP, 3bet, etc) and all the sequences that could be given.

We did an analysis of my hud against his hud to find possible leaks in my game in the sequences SRP OOP as PFC and SRP IP as PFR.

I was surprised how well planned everything was, He had already marked hands, which there was no downtime at any time. Besides being always predisposed to answer all my questions.

Imagine that it is impossible in 2 hours to go through all the leaks, but in simple concepts that he gave me, the general approach that I should have to climb levels, without a doubt they will bear fruit in the future.

He asked me to keep in touch to see how everything is going forward :)

So Patrick, I can't tell you how grateful I am for yesterday's coaching, for your positive attitude and all the good vibes you have.

What videos / coaches give you a lesson? (elite or essential)
Among so many that there are, which do you think should be seen without exception? (coaches or videos that marked a path for you as a player)

thanks for answering me, :) I think zinhao saw your play very out of line, or in an unconventional line ... those comments are all of us grinders.
Unfortunately he was streaming, but I don't think he spoke ill of you or your game.

His labels are perceptions that he may have, at a certain time and in a certain circumstance.

Hello demon, I wanted to ask you for your criteria who are the best players currently in z500 and what do you think about the style of play of zinhao / saulo?

Ok,
I read your last entry and you just refer to what zinhao said in his stream ..

Now I understand why you don't want to answer my question

OTR, a good opponent cannot think that your range is capped since maybe 88 you 3bet preflop and that the 3 has been paired on the river, does it take you value combos?

Post | Mates. posted in NLHE: Spanish Group Study

Good morning, I would like to know if there are members of the community who are Spanish-speaking and want to form or are already part of a study group.

I am currently a winner at NL10 at 11bb / 100 at Pokerstars, in 60k hands.

With plans to go up to NL16 / 25 in no time.

Any data please send me a private one, thanks!

I share Cita's opinion, but I also want to add that many concepts from 2016-2017 are applicable to today's game.
Ex: Ben sulsky, Tyler Forrester, among others, used solvers at that time and their game is based on it, you will surely get interesting things out.
Then if you are more oriented to the theory, I add Francesco Lacroica to the IICitanull list and I would tell you that between 2018-2019 there are very interesting videos.

on this page and on the previous one I ask again and it answers the same thing ... if you have a user you can search on the thread "multiple bet sizing" and you will find that this always responds.

This information is from the creator or administrator of GTO + (Solver) / Flopzilla / CEV +.

So it makes me rethink.

These are the comments I found:

You're basically looking at static. If you slightly change ranges, or the tree, or even just solve to a different Nash distance, then different frequencies may be reached. Even if you were to pick the line that the GTO solution least seems to prefer, then the overall EV would at worst be only slightly below the overall EV for the "preferred" line. There's very little to gain here.

This entire approach doesn't work. All bet sizes perform nearly identical to one another. Typically the difference in performance between two bet sizes is within 1% of each other. Quality of play is far more important. Versus an optimal opponent there's not much to be gained from bet sizing, but far more from playing well within the bet sizes that you've chosen.

"When it comes to turn play, I would recommend just using single bet sizes. Turn and river play is only needed to estimate the EVs of hands in the followup lines. It's not necessary to use overly complex play here. Your trees will become smaller, and solve faster.

instead I would really recommend just using single bet sizes on later streets (turn/river). Using multiple bet sizes will not result in any significant better quality of the solution, given that they perform only slightly better than single bet sizes. Also, even with single bet sizes it can already be very challenging to make sense of the solutions from a human perspective. When just sticking to single bet sizes on the turn/river your trees will be smaller and solve faster, while being easier to interpret.

The above applies to GTO strategies versus perfect players. However, in practical play, people (particularly poorer players) may react sub-optimally to certain bet sizings. So in practice it makes perfect sense to adapt your bet sizing to your opponent's leaks. However, as the quality of opponent increases, the added value of bet sizing will likely decrease; it's the quality of play what is most important. If having to choose between high quality of play and low quality of bet sizing, or vice versa, then the former will outperform the latter by a wide margin."

Citanul ... Thanks for answering! :)

When I meant having only one bet size, I meant TURN and RIVER.
And to some extent what he says is correct, it is practically impossible to execute a "perfect" strategy if we overcomplicate it. As for the EV, it would be more expensive to have structure errors than bets size errors (having several various bet sizes wins VERY little EV vs a GTO player)

This is taking the exploitative game out of context.

What he proposes is
create subsets with 1 single bet on the flop (25,50,75, range bet, checkin range, etc),
We would select the one that retains the most EV.

From there, we started creating the turn and river strategy.

June 11, 2020 | 10:17 a.m.

"There's a misconception when it comes to bet sizing. As it turns out, when playing GTO, all sizes will show almost exactly the same performance. You can check this for yourself, by building the same tree, but for different sizes. After that, check the overall performance for OOP. As you'll find, all EVs will be nearly the same, and any bet size should basically work.

What is really important when it comes to your performance is your quality of play; the bet sizing has almost no influence whatsoever; for any size there's a strategy that performs almost exactly the same as any other size. A consequence of this is that the approach of using multiple sizes (to see which one occurs most) doesn't really work. Within a given dEV there's several different configurations of betting frequencies that all lead to the same result. You're basically looking at static. Bet sizing is really not something to be overly obsessed with; there's almost nothing to be gained here as opposed to focussing on your quality of play."

This has been spinning me for quite some time ..
I don't have much experience with solvers, but trying to improve I try to find ways to simplify strategies.

How true is this?

if it were true, what only bet would OTT and OTR choose in the following sequences? (assuming we can also push all OTR)

At 100bb
Pot 5bb
* SRP IP
* SRP OOP

At 100bb
Pot 24bb
* 3bet OOP

At 100bb
Pot16.5-19bb
* 3bet IP

Hi,
How is my poker account linked to the training account?

Jan. 13, 2020 | 12:29 p.m.

Henry Lister
Henry, first of all thanks for the vid . My question is about the last hand.
Do you think that the raise on the turn of the AK could have been to make folded at the hands of the 99-QQ or failing that, shove river in an A K or 5 or Club?

How would you play against the raise on the turn in the situation of the BB hands type 99-QQ?
