The game NL2, NL5 and NL10 are the same.
If you're doing well in NL2, you'll also do well in NL5. Keep using the same strategy. Be patient and do not let the limit rise affect your thoughts.

XC flop, XC turn and fold river.

June 28, 2017 | 11:03 a.m.

Call OTR.
3bet PF, and X/C flop, X/C turn.
You open the door to villain to bluff. You have that call here.

June 20, 2017 | 7:37 p.m.

On the river hit all two higher pairs than your or str8. (AT, AJ, AQ, AK)
IMO nice play.

June 20, 2017 | 1:53 p.m.

Why cbet 0,74 in 2,35? TPTK on flop with Str8 draw and FD you have cbet more.
Turn, bet again. 50% is sufficient.

June 20, 2017 | 11:28 a.m.

The villian has set on flop, right?

June 20, 2017 | 11:23 a.m.

I think the cbet size should be bigger. 0,40~0,50. Villians in micro stacks call a lot.
I play equal. The check-raise turn could be sets. I pot control.

Hand History | MarkGomes posted in NLHE: 5NL: Sb Squeeze x BN rock.
Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (6 Players) BB: $5.75 (Hero)
UTG: $5.00
MP: $5.21
CO: $6.04
BN: $6.19
SB: $4.61
BN: Tight-Passive - Rock.
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is BB with K A
3 folds, BN raises to $0.12, SB calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.45, BN raises to $0.95, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50
- My size squeeze should be bigger?
- When the BN 4bet, for me the range him is very closed. JJ+, AQs+
Flop ($2.02) 4 K 2
Hero checks, BN bets $1.25, Hero calls $1.25
- The villian is very tight. It played little hands. And the showdown always has value.
On this type the vilian and he size cbet I put him in AA, KK, AK value and AQ bluff, but I have AK then I block this ranges.
44 and 22 don't has in your range. I think that he don't cbet QQ and JJ. Right?
Turn ($4.52) 4 K 2 7
Hero checks, BN checks
- I found it strange that check it based on the range that I'm building, which leaves me just bluffing here.
River ($4.52) 4 K 2 7 3
Hero checks, BN checks
- I opted for the check to let him bluff, but because he was tight-passive I should have bet, since these guys hardly bluff here.
- What do you think of the ranges and how do I play against this kind of OOP villain?

Dec. 20, 2016 | 11:24 a.m.

Everybody could call 3bet with T9s?
I fold it.
What more do you call here?

Dec. 13, 2016 | 12:36 p.m.

Yes. Excel.
Send me your e-mail and I send for you.

Dec. 2, 2016 | 1:11 p.m.

No info, is realy complicated.
Involved stacks don't give space to 5bet/fold, so we have 5bet all in.
But we supose that the SB does this like TT+, AJ+, We have fold equity here.
TT, JJ and QQ (improbable), AJ, AQ and AKo probable will fold PF if we all in. I think he call only AA, KK and AKs.
Now, if the stats and info say that he to do only AA, KK and AKs, so we have fold.
See image I sent. I calculated if our 5bet is +EV or not.

Dec. 1, 2016 | 3:16 p.m.

I agree with you in parts. In MP and UTG tends to show only premium hands. But I don't think this situation above.
I don't fold this spot, because is a excelent spot to SB steal.
CO try steal, BN 3bet and all this can light. It's better oportunitty to SB try steal.
What do you think?

Dec. 1, 2016 | 11:10 a.m.

I would fold PF QTs on the SB, IMHO.
As played, I would cbet flop about 0,65~0,70.
This flop don't hits your range of 3bet and maybe villian could float.
OTT:
- Over cards: X/C
- Open draw: I could bet 50% or X/R.
What do you think?

Dec. 1, 2016 | 10:50 a.m.

cbet and shove turn too, but I cbet $10 flop and the pot $33,97 and my stack turn will be $33,75, so I open shove and not check-raise. This board is very very draw so I don't like of to give free cards.

Comment | MarkGomes commented on 5NLz - Linecheck

On the flop there is very check behind. We have value. We can to lead flop too, to extract FD.
As played.. IMHO, It's very strange to be passive flop and agressive turn. I reraise turn about $1,20 and allin river if no any diamonds.

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (5 Players) UTG: $8.74
CO: $10.45
BN: $4.72
SB: $5.05 (Hero)
BB: $5.27
(V:23, PFR:15, AF 2,7, Steal 57% of BTN)
How you can see, there is level between us. The villain tries steal
oftentimes. I already have 3bet he sometimes IP and OOP, and Sometimes he 4bet, sometimes not.
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is SB with T J
2 folds, BN raises to $0.14, Hero raises to $0.58, BB folds, BN raises to $1.02, Hero calls $0.44
I tried 3bet light, but he 4bet. I call for potodds.
Here, this villian, I think he can have a wide range. A8o+, A7s+, KTo+, QTo+, 77+, QTs+. KTs+, A9s+.
My JTo versus this range will winner 32,68%. With pot odds of the 21,05% I opted for call.
Flop ($2.09) T 8 5
Hero checks, BN bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50
Turn ($5.09) T 8 5 2
Hero bets $2.53 and is all in, BN calls $2.20 and is all in
My lead allin turn was thinking: relaction pot/stack, to do he call whit hands draw FD or str8 that it'll play check behind and to do he to fold hands that it could win river.

I have a good history this villian. He is tight and on 215 hands don´t had 3bet. So I put he in top range, right? He is a good player.
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is MP with K K
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.15, CO folds, BN raises to $0.52, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.37
Villian's range: JJ+, AJs+, AQs+.
Flop ($1.11) T Q 9
Hero checks, BN checks
When he check this flop, I put JJ, QQ, AK, AJ. I discard AQ, KK, AA, because this hands cbet.
Turn ($1.11) T Q 9 4
Hero bets $0.53, BN calls $0.53
I bet OTT, but if he raise I belive that I'm losing. Whit he don't raise I discard QQ.
River ($2.17) T Q 9 4 K
Hero checks, BN bets $1.40, Hero folds
This river may look good, but I think worse, because complete the str8; AJ and JJ. I belive that, he is a good player, don´t size bet OTR wiht AK this board, so I have a losing hand.

What do you think?

The villian has loose stats, I believe he continues with a wide variety of hands here.
Range: 22-TT, 98s+, A2s+, A8o+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s, KJo+, QTo+, JTo.

I don't see Aces or KK in size cbet of BB, IMHO, because the stats shows TAG player, and a TAG player size cbet 70%~80% this flop, right? So I bet more in turn to extract of KxQs, KxJs, KxTs, QxQs, JxJs, etc.

The could call was I think that the villian could have three of a kind.

Here I took the three of a kind because this hand bet IP.
River ($1.29) 7 3 9 8 K
Hero bets $0.43, BN raises to $1.06, Hero calls $0.63
Maybe he can have hit K? But that hands do he reaise flop?

NIT fold? The villian is reg, tight and don't very agreesive. When he bet turn I didn't see many hands that I'm winning. I put he in AA, KK, QQ, AKs and three of a kind. What do you think?

I prefer 3bet PF, but this conditions for trap I think OK. ("i flatted because the BB had shown he had a tendency to SQ quite wide")
Sick hand. When you raise flop, in villian's head you can be bluffing, becouse this flop don't hit range UTG , but turn when he check-raise I dont think that he is "bluffing your bluff". Right? Our you think could he play so? Do you think he check-raised all in with JJ,QQ, KK our draws+overcards AKs, AQs?

Versus two players I think the cbet should be bigger. About 50% of pot. Because we be could call 77, 88, TT, JJ, QQ, AKs that they played so PF. As played, if the CO is reg, I play equal, because your check turn (3bet PF, bet flop, Turn: Ac - FD - check versus two) induces him the bet river with JJ, QQ, TT and bluff. Aces you don't have playing so,

Nov. 24, 2016 | 10:19 a.m.

I think yes.
I prefer to call than raise, because raise will show great value and we will expel AK, AQ, JJ because the players are reg. QQ will play flat call. Maybe AKs flat call. But we have two K.
KK is premium hand and we can flat call OOP sometimes.
I think this.

GL GL.

Nov. 23, 2016 | 1:40 p.m.

Check call river.
If the villain have AK he 3bet PF.
Three of a Kind (TT, 33) or 2 pairs (A3, AT) raised flop or turn, because there is many players in hand.
I think flush draw failed this river.
