12:55 It's not really that controversial, sir.
Loose BTN Opens, SB cc (100% 2 cd draw), Hero is BB w 36789. Agree w everything until you weigh your pre-draw decisions.
You took a line that should NEVER be considered. Defending and then D1 is why Krakura snowed and won the pot, I believe. No strong deuce player will ever flat and D1 there. Ever. There aren't too many "always" and "never" in poker, but this is never the best line, just as opening J5ss UTG flhe 6m is never correct.
You can either D2 (which isn't completely unattractive to tighter players that may have tough time w the wide range stuff post-draw OOP), fold if you're weak at this game, or take the correct line - 3! and D1 to 3678x. There is no way to correctly balance our D1 range between cc and 3! given the action. We will be passing up too much value w any D1 hand worth playing (and this is on the cusp, but worth playing). By not 3!, we are turning our hand face-up as a weak 1 cd draw. That leads to us easily getting exploited by snows/quick patters, as they have the comfort of knowing that as soon as they pat, they can fold us out (just like you did) if we aren't pat.
There isn't a top online deuce player (Isi, TT, Donthnrun, KKophghy, etc) that would take this line. Same goes for the best live deuce players like DD, Jesse Marin, etc. If I'm wrong about any of the aforementioned players' opinions, $100 to charity of your choice. Complete freeroll.
Fwiw, I know I'm being a little harsh to a really nice guy. But 1) It's just so obvious to deuce specialists and 2) PEOPLE ARE PAYING $100/mo to watch this. This is as far as I've made it in the vid. Also fwiw, you are better than me at 6/8 games in the mix. It's very easy to play deuce competently, as so many spots play themselves, tough to be very good (you're somewhere between competent and good), and to be top 10 in the world, it's like any other endeavor.

good vid, I'm kinda surprised the AcJc9x6x from the SB after UTG open and BTN (shortie) was a cc, esp in a tourney. The low draw is very poor considering the MW action and you are really only working w NFD for the high, other than a perfect AJJ flop etc. Those are my assumptions - could you enlighten me? Is there a difference in the way you would've played the hand in cash game when wookiez opens UTG and fresh is the BTN cc and Enon is the BB?
Also, you glossed over the tendency in MW pots of players to try and KO other players w weakfish 2 way hands. Do you think the gen pop at mid/hs are doing this too often? That is, do you advocate a generally more passive approach in these spots?
Finally, how do feel about high only hands? Raise or limp from EP? Raise or limp from steal position? thx please don't let down the Great Western Stud world
The no-HUD rule, coupled w your specific other implementations like Dynamic Avatars, awesome. It will def serve the needs of the ecosystem (whatever that means to you).
Quick question: As a mix game player who has recently given 3 months notice to his 6 figure job and plans to move my family of 4 from LA to Poland in 3 months, strictly to play on RIO, will you be offering 8g+ the other popular draw variants that are available on SwCpoker and in live mix games from AC to LA?
I've given notice to my employer and he has asked me to take the weekend to "think it over". But I'm staying true to my convictions and will be moving to Warsaw w my family in 3 months, strictly to play mid/hi mix games on RIO!
