Your assumption was of 30% equity Also early you payed 1bb to play 7+bb pot with 236Kss from BB 3 way saying preflop call is bad, while the hand has 25% equity against 2 uncapped good hands (in a spot where villains were likely tight but rarely uncapped). Your argument of doing gut feeling based decisions while playing is ok, but you should also check your equity estimations before evaluating your play.
