Calling pre seems obvious since the squeeze is really small

Honestly, I don't see which hand is gonna fold on this river after 2 barrels
3way pot makes it actually even harder to play, anyone raising the turn heads up ?

In fact we only have 23$ in a 65$ pot now... only his airs are gonna fold but which one ? I don't see any personnally, maybe some KJs KTs JTs stuff but I don't think we would have seen the same postflop action, his river check is actually quite surprising

I could find a check HU, definitely a bet against two players especially a fish.

You can get value from hands like Qs, JT or even worse + you don't want to see a diamond on the turn that slow downs the action.
Easier to take value on the flop than later.

Typically the situation we want to avoid at these stakes.

You're not calling a preflop 3b with 9Ts to go broke with a bad kicked bad top pair.
We're looking to get big draws etc...

Just simply fold preflop

Typically a 4b spot against the squeeze.

Calling is not too bad but against two players, I don't like it.

I can't see an escape post flop.

Even with an A we don't like on the flop, I still like to bet 1/3 to avoid c/f and still getting value from some low PPs that still can get a call with an A on the flop.

If vilain calls we simply check down and hope he doesn't bet later.

As you said considering vilain's profile everything's pretty close
I guess against a reg I'd tend to bet 1/3 as it's hard to get called by a non flush hand like a straight or two pair if we bet bigger. Of course we're obviously strong taking the lead here but we don't want to let vilain check back his hand.

As vilain took the lead on the turn here I'm almost considering x/r this river
The pot is big and maybe vilain could go crazy to make a desperate move.

In fact I just got my tracker back these recent days so I didn't notice BB stats at first, but it's what made me call on the turn, vilain had Jacks !

March 31, 2018 | 7:15 a.m.

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) BN: $19.47
SB: $9.32
BB: $14.06
UTG: $11.80
MP: $43.99
CO: $23.07 (Hero)
MP looks reggish, BB is a fish, only few hands but 47/28
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is CO with K K
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.25, Hero raises to $0.95, 2 folds, BB calls $0.85, MP calls $0.70
Flop ($2.90) 2 T 8
BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00, MP calls $1.00
I decide to Cbet just a 1/3 given the flop dryness
Could get call by a lot of hands here especially against many players
Don't need too much protection and don't wanna make em runaway
Turn ($5.90) 2 T 8 4
BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $3.85, BB raises to $12.11 and is all in, MP folds, Hero calls $8.26

Overbet shove definitely not a good idea here imo
Obv you're never shoving with KJdd or A8dd here
You lost value against weaker hands and you'll get only called by better hands.

Just continue betting here

And I don't specially defend my big blind with K3s against a somewhat reg

I definitely agree with you, yes we're deep but his 4b is HUGE

I clearly don't wanna set mine at this price and I clearly don't feel my jacks to be alive right now.
I'm happy to fold in this spot.

You're not supposed to fold on that turn given the flop... but as we didn't hit our set it's clearly a fold to me

March 29, 2018 | 9:25 a.m.

Well in fact the river doesn't change anything
But I really wanted to know if there were better options than what I've done

C/R the turn is obv face up I think
Lucky this time vilain could call with a set

Hi, pretty standard to me, never mind if you get called by a better hand

What about the preflop 3b with 88?

Not sure both of these players can be that strong, facing a lead by the SB, CO could be calling with simply a pair or a draw

Shoving is your best option, you can't just flat call on this board against 2 players.

Hi guys,
I'll let you the boom link cause the hand converter ain't working, my history wasn't in english so it could be the problem

https://www.boomplayer.com/27326304_C31E16A580

So here it is, no info on vilains but I've never seen em so maybe some recs but not sure.

Decided to open A5s UTG, it may be the only low suited ace I open here.
Great flop against two players, decided to old school slow play check...
Monochrome board are always scary for vilains I guess If I cbet here against two players I'm really strong.

Vilain bets, vilain 2 folds and I decide to call.
Classic play, and then I decide to check raise on the turn
I don't go to expensive but I realize I'm too strong here too, maybe leading could have been better.

He calls and here is the horrible river
I can definitely sets in is hands but I'm never check/folding my hand now I feel too commited...

I feel like nuts are not that easy to play sometimes and I wanted to know your opinions on this play
Maybe a simple 2barrel could have been a better option ?

Thanks you guys

I just prefer to fold preflop
I hate cold calling 3bets generally, I could be doing it with JJ but that's all I think maybe sometimes TT/QQ.

As you called the 3b you can't fold on the cheap 4b.

March 23, 2018 | 1:55 p.m.

Hi,
not sure his line is THAT strong.

A lot of players just see cheap cbets as weakness so they simply raise the flop.
Vilain might want to play with his huge stack too.

Concerning your line itself I think checking or betting higher on this flop would have been better.
I like cheap cbets but on this flop, definitely not the best to me.

Turn doesn't change anything, I'm pretty surprised if he's shoving with a boat here, same with a straight on a paired board...
Is it standard or Zoom ?
Lot of fishs like to go broke on the turn with just a J here, honestly I don't think calling here is that bad, I think I'm doing the same.

You're blocking some KJ so... I'm even more confident calling here.
I'd feel kinda stupid if vilain shows AQ ahah

March 23, 2018 | 1:52 p.m.

Ok so we're defending AJo preflop oop against a 3bet.
And now, we're looking to fold our hand on one of the best board we could found ?
So why did we called preflop ? What did we hope ? what was the plan ?
I'm not folding here even if I'm going to muck.

Especially against unknowns, to me AJo is an horrible hand to defend OOP against a 3b.
And even against players we might know, I'd rather 4b than defend especially OOP.
In most case AJo will be a fold against a 3b
