Simple spot here
Villain is shoving around 11bb UTG and we are MP with ATo. Non-bounty, we overshove something reasonable like:
But, this was a BB7,5 and the villain had $11 bounty, still 500 people left in tourney so more like CHipEV+bounty situation. Now, villain is supposed to be shoving tighter (as he is being called wider) and I am supposed to reshove a bit looser (still not ATo tho)
So I try to test it and increase villains bounty to found when can I reshove ATo. With $20 bounty the ranges looks similar, except I am oveshoving a bit looser (ATo starting to become BE)
But now, what happens, when I give him $25 and then $30 bounty
and with $30 bounty
Now his shoving range is almost twice as wide vs the $11 bounty. So my question is, how do you find the treshold between "I am shoving tighter because I am being called looser" and "I am shoving looser, because I am being called by trash hands"?

I put the hand to solver and this is its flop suggestion:
for your combo specifically:
I think CO will have a lot of continues as well, but you should be able to fold out a lot of it on later streets.
The CO is supposed to stab wehn checked to a lot, so doing some x/r makes sense to me. Solver does not agree tho. Maybe someone more experienced could enlighten us regarding this...
Oct. 5, 2019 | 12:57 p.m.
I am not sure yo suppose to have a checking range on this flop at all.
I would be mainly betting, x/giving up only with my worst 3bet bluffs like A6s,A5s,A4s with no backdoors.
Sizing I think we can use both 1/3 or 2/3. With a club in my hand I would lean to 2/3.
Oct. 4, 2019 | 2:14 p.m.
I think 66-77 should be at least mix, OTF.
Sept. 15, 2019 | 9:03 a.m.
I would be betting the the turn. He has all his 66,77,78s,65s,JT,QT,A7 that he will be folding.
Also, by checking, you give him an oportunity to bluff you with worse flushdraw, which is disastrous in this spot I think...
something around 1200 and I wil be folding if he shoves.
Sept. 12, 2019 | 1:31 p.m.
I like your line. Raising seems a bit too loose. I would raise my stronger 9xs
Sept. 12, 2019 | 1:12 p.m.
If he is too agro, 3bet calling seems fine. But I would setmine as well. It seems better, since you can also extract value from the two overcallers behind you...
Sept. 12, 2019 | 1:05 p.m.
OTF I like your sizing. However checking should be OK as well.
OTT I think betting 2/3 like you do is fine. But I sometimes overbet in these situations, it seems fine too.
OTR I don mind the give up. Bluffing with something lika A6s or Q9s my be better as you are blocking also some of his sets. If I would bluff, I would overbet, something like 6k.
Overall this spot seems you can bet 2/3, overbet or check on almost every street, so the decision would have to be swayed by the villain stats or reads...
Sept. 5, 2019 | 1:30 p.m.
I think I would be 3betting to around 550, as the hand will play better that way. Also BTN is dead money most probably.
Against a non allin 4bet I would tend to fold on the low stakes. I dont think players are bluffing often enough like this.
Against allin I would be calling. Fun players can have a lot of smaller pairs, even AJs, AJo + random trash.
Sept. 5, 2019 | 1:01 p.m.
Betting a 1/3 on the flop seems like a far the best option with the Ac blocker, however I would bet all my AQ like that :)
What I dont like is the sizing OTT. I would be betting 1/3 again, he would have tough time to continue with JQ,QT draws, 88,77 etc anyway and we block the nutflush, so there are not so many FDs out there. I would be betting 1/3 with majority of my range, checking just the obvious 88,77,66, maybe QQ. I would not mind to put AQ with Ac to my x/f range on this turn, as we block the flush floats and we have a lot more profitable hands to continue.
On the blank river I would be mostly giving up after he called two streets. Maybe bluffing with some of my worse hands that got to the river like this, like JTs, QTs.
Aug. 13, 2019 | 11:21 a.m.
I would have to be certain he is super nitty to fold here.
Otherwise, I would be defending the suited aces here. We have some playability postflop, can x/c draws etc...
You can also call with AA to balanc, That said, I think especially on lower stakes and with that stack size, villains tends to have very strong range, so I would be most probably shoving my AA to get max value...
Aug. 13, 2019 | 10:48 a.m.
What do you do vs this sizing on the river? It scared me more then allin to be honest. So I did not contemplate calling even though I could with the Kh...
Allin from my side OTR would be interesting too... If Ithink he folds an 8, which he never will :D

I would be checking as well. You will have your one, maybe two streets of value on safe turns/rivers any way and you avoid some messy checkraise situations on the flop.
I dont think you would defend ATo vs UTG raise, so you would not get into this situation anway :) correct me if I am wrong...
Aug. 4, 2019 | 1:11 p.m.
If BB never 3bets I would tend to raise all my range here. Slightly tighter than my normal 20bb CO raising ragne. So basically, the intersetcion of Pedros ranges...

Bounty Builder 44, villain 50/21 after 24 hands (20$ bounty)
Preflop I go mix between limp/call and limp/3bet.
Flop, I go bet (check with stronger Q?, which I dont have with this line, so I dunno). Std peel vs his raise imo.
Turn, I block lot of his bluff combos (calling with Qc9c better?) + I dont think its worth to gamble here, as I will still cover all people at the table when I fold.
Is it reasonable?

I run it through solver and quite like its line of x/r flop with these T8s combos with backdoors... Then, continue on turns that help me, check on for example 8c turn and give up on not favorable turns.
Interestingly, would I be for example 20bb deep. It tells me to only x/c flop and x/shove favorable turns. I quite like it as well.
July 25, 2019 | 1:08 p.m.
The villain is more on the solid, agro side. Maybe I put it poorly it should be:
villain - agro solid
blinds - fish :)
..but I like your thoughts about the recreationals. You are right, that I often find myself making fairly well thought river play like this, only to get snapcalled by overpair or even a 9 or something...

Flop, would you play differently?
Turn, I block some of his flushdraw and bluffs, but I think I have to call...
River, after his blockbet, I think this is perfect spot to shove and make him fold better pairs. If he plays flush this way, then WP :) what do you think?

I am not sure, but low stakes I would tend to fold. Ppl do not 3bet light enough from SB especially vs UTG.
66 are bottom of my range here anyway...
July 18, 2019 | 8:42 a.m.
I would just call especially vs fish, which you can overplay postflop. Would shove if I were closer to the other 2 small stacks 20-25bb.
..also, I would 3bet shove more of my normal 3bet/calls, because of the ICM pressure. I would not want to get into a situation I am playing huge pot OOP with 2 small stacks still on the table.

My friend on other forum had a good point, when someone suggested x/shove turn:
x/c turn - villain has passive stats so I dont think he will be bluffing a lot on turn
July 16, 2019 | 7:58 a.m.
Villain 39/9 fish
Ingame ti was almost automuck, but looking back now, I think I am too tight...
I approximate villains range on the turn to:
99-88, 55, 33, QTs, JTs, 87s, 76s, KhQh, KhJh, QhJh, KhTh, (Ad8d, As8s, Ac8c??), 9h7h, 98o
and got, that I have 40%, so it seem more like insta call...
Hand
I go cbet to fold out 44-77, KQ, random trash + value from JT,JQ,T7 maybe. Turn completes 67 + some sets but I think I should continue and it seems stack off vs shove?
How do you play this?

Question
Shove or 3bet?
If I go 3bte, I want to make it at least 250k. In that moment it is obvious I am not folding to MP1, I look strong. At the same time I dont want to size down and end up 3way or OOP against BTN.
...plus shove looks "weaker"
What are your thoughts? Shove or 3bet? What sizing?
Does the fact that this is 16PKO and both villains have around 100$ bounty change your decision somehow? (imo more shove happy)
