Enjoyed the format Pete!
I’m occasionally playing some “practice sessions” in the 100z pool myself during low traffic hour on the site I’m mainly playing. So I’m doing similar types of sessions that you described, which I find to be a good way to study... I’ve bumped in to you at the tables a few times too which is always fun since I follow you here.
RVO2410 - Even though 77 might be high enough in our range to have to defend in order to not over fold, the PP hands tend to be very poor bluff catching candidates. It’s often better to choose a high card hand or a lower pair on the board even though they are technically lower in our range. This is because PP’s generally block a bunch of bluffs and also dont block any of Villains value. This is not the ideal spot to illustrate this though (Because villain doesn’t really have that many 7x anyway) but it’s a pretty good general rule to keep in mind.
I think thats what Live_your_dreams85 meant...

Great video by both of you! Really hoping for a part 2
I’m a former professional player but since a few years back I’m doing something else. I’m playing sporadically and also do some solver work/watching RIO vidoes when I have time. I’m trying to play more and more HU and I have to say this is some of the highest value content here! Especially if you are not a full timer/don’t have many poker playing friends to discuss hands with/private coaching etc.
Thanks guys!
And also, we played a some hands against each other a couple of weeks ago Nuno. It was really fun although I think I miss played a few spots :D

Great video! I’ve been thinking about doing similar work myself but I’m a beginner with the scripting function and aggregateed reports in Pio.
One thing I’m curious about is when you run these scripts do you use some cloud or Dropbox or something to save the files? It takes up a ton of space on the hard drive, especially for “full saves” which can be a problem.
Again, great work and imo one of the greatest value videos on the site because you sum up quite time consuming work in a very nice and well structured way! Thanks!

Did you have a link for that HUD? It was kinda cool even though it looks kind of ridiculous at first glance.
And nice vid, enjoyed it!

Is that random number generator only available to pokerstars?

Too bad you're not gonna make any more vids! Really enjoyed all of them so far, really like your style of play and your way of analyzing/ reasoning reminds me of myself. A lot of interesting lines in this one as usual - inspiring!

Just wanted to say I liked the concept of this video a lot and obviously the actual content as well. Hope to see more of this!

Also, do I need Essential Plan or Elite plan for that? Sorry I'm a noob here!

Thanks for the reply! Very much appreciated! The fact that the stakes are higher doesn't matter to me, I'm sometimes playing higher when games run and I'm not looking for too basic stuff anyway!
Yeah if anyone got more suggestions that'd be great!

I think muck pre, but not terrible to flat. As played it feels pretty bad to just fold when we practically get the ideal flop for our hand. Think it's fine to c/r and stack off vs co if he ships... We obv have to puke if that happens but we rep super strong here and have lots of fold eq. If co jam we still have >40% vs 88,66-55,AcJc,AcTc,Tc9c,97s,86s. Even if we take away nut FD's (88,66-55,Tc9c,97s,86s) we got ~38%. We need ~38% vs CO to get it in here...

Hi,
I'm looking for live fullring strategy, are there any live videos or coaches here? I'm playing 2/4-5/5 and have a solid winrate, but always looking to improve. Would appriciate some info before I sign up.
Thanks

Nice format! Thats a good way to study or brush of some rust when you haven’t played for long imo!
A bit of constructive feedback;
I think when you go ovr the hands in PIO it would be interesting if you went over each players equity on the flop before any action is made. Maybe also look at range composition in the “range explorer” to see how ranges interact in terms of nut advantages etc.
For example in the first hand (SRP BvB on KQx) When ranges are wide I would not be surprised if equities are running pretty close. That combined with that we are OOP is probably why we are checking a lot.
Just a good way to better understand why some patterns occur imo. And that’s whatwe are most interested in when we are studying with PIO.
