Seems like KQo also gets a fraction of value vs BDFD draws from bb which only check/call. Would like to see if that's the case. (on Axx wheel board to end vid)

If you have a connection with the host of the game who will make sure you're protected I would continue to play, but if you're a winning player in the game I would always acquiesce to the request of your opponent in regards to how many times you're running it as it will not affect the long term outcome and will also encourage your opponents to put worse hands in because they think they have "two chanceS"

Also,
You play a hand later on in the video where you defend J7654cc. Flop kj2hh and goes c/c. Turn is a 4h and also goes c/c. River is a J and you check again. Two questions.
1) Why not start betting ott?
2) As played, why check river instead of betting? Villain will likely call a bet with all of the hands he would go for value with anyway so you're not losing any equity there, and you have the added benefit of inducing bluffs and even just getting to muck instead of showing down if he folds. I can't think of any hands in villain's range that would bet river for value and actually call a c/r.

Hey Phil,
Just wanted to ask a quick question. You play a hand towards the middle/early middle part of the video where you have Qt872 with T2ss. You limp/call btn and check back flop and turn after completing your flush ott giving you the third nuts.
On the river, villain leads roughly half pot. You decide to raise for value, I have two questions.
1) What hands are you expecting to get a call from?
2) If you are villain in this spot and your hand contains the dry As, are you auto-repotting river?
Thanks and keep up the great work!

Ben,
Isn't your river c/r size the most important aspect of this hand? I would think sizing it slightly smaller will significantly open up your opponent's 3b bluffing range. For example if you make 770 instead of 1130 or whatever, his perceived fold equity would be much better. Thanks for any response
So this is a bit late heh, but I'm liking this video series a lot so far! I think for the KQo hand @46:00 it is very important exactly how many players away from the money you are, and what the stacks of the other shorties is. In a big field tournament like this, if you are are likely to be in the money by next BB i think it would be a fold, whereas if you still likely have to pass the blinds again I think shove or minraise can be fine. Minraise/shove decision would depend on table dynamic, more likely to shove if its regs behind. Would be interested in what you think about that. Keep it up, maybe you will win the Main Event next time! Oh wait... :D
