Might I suggest that perhaps you are V-betting in spots where you should be bluffcatching (c/c'ing)...? Mr. Galfond has an old philosophy vid that addresses this ubiquitous leak, where often we get to the river with top-pair in spots where our opponent's range is air-heavy, and we (erroneously) V-bet, they fold, and we move on to the next hand, not thinking twice about the spot.
An example of a good board is maybe ATx flop with a flush draw, then blank turn, blank river. Simply based on hand-combinations, our opponents are much more likely to get to the river with a busted-draw (that potentially bluffs when checked to) than a hand that can call a V-bet.
Just a thought. I might be wrong.

I'd say with live players like this, it's more likely that they don't appreciate relative hand-strength on 4-flush boards than they have the single hand-combination in the deck that beats you.
