Hi Paul. Thx for another vid, unfortunate with the bad run in the end. At 0:40, u say u rather wanna stick it in with K7s/suited connector instead of A3o? I really dont get that - can u please explain why u rather wanna do that instead of with a high? In the end the with the QJ hand, what draws do u expect him to fold here, when he leads out with 2/3 of his stack? I mean, often were not getting called by anything we really beat here. Ofc the stacksizes are awkward, so im kinda keen on hearing your thoughts here.
Otherwise nice vids, keep it coming! Would like to see some material, where u run over some taped and edited stuff :) Cheers!

Another awesome vid in this series Esben, been watching this twice to make sure I didnt miss anything. Cant wait to the next part - when do u expect it to arrive? And can u tell us a bit if there will be another guest commentary?
Its really great, and Phil Galfond is obviously one of the greater minds in poker, so really nice to hear what he has to say.

Yea thats what I figured, just needed a sanity check. Thx man. I shoved, and he had KK. I sucked out with trip queens, so that was fine :)

Bump - anyone? :) Is this spot really a standard re-shove or do we have any other options?

Hey guys,
Already posted this in the low-stakes, but im gonna put it here aswell to hopefully get some more reviews :) maybe its pretty std, I dunno.
My first analyzis post here on rio, so if im missing out on something please point it out.
Ok here goes about the spot. Its folded to me on the btn, and I click raise 26bb eff. SB is kinda tag/passive player, so im not giving him much credit. Got SB on 21/16/6 over 97 hands.
Villain is playing 26/20/4 over 98 hands, and I looked him up on sharkscope and officialpokerrankings and he has 90k$+ in profit. Havent seen him out of line at this point, and he seems sane.
Question is - what we do with AQ here? Can we ever flat, or do we reshove? Whats the best option here?

Ok I will try to do that next time - I just think this is easier :) Thx for your input so far!

yea I realise that, thats why i'm asking cause i'm in doubt wheter its a completely std shove or we can actually fold here. Im just thinking his 3b range is pretty wide here, since im presumed to open the btn quite often, and his spot is even better when SB just opted to call?
Do we have to think icm when 8 guys still remain?
Oct. 9, 2014 | 2:58 p.m.
But dosent it seem a bit nitty folding AQ on the btn, vs a bigstack on a FT against a guy who has big profit and must be presumed to have a pretty wide range here?

Great videos, and as Oakbluff you speak nice and clearly which is nice for people that arent english :) Keep it up!
Tbh I think its a little boring video. Many std spots if u ask me. The AA vs K5 u 3bet out of BB, do u ever work with flatting it? Im doing it so myself, since many regs are folding way to much to 3bets. Also another thing, do u ever think about your timing? Noticed u always checking really fast when u didnt have anything, while taking alot longer when u actually had something. Most regs spot that pretty fast, just something I noticed dunno if u put any thought into it.
