From these positions I think pair + draw is as likely as any other hand, or maybe more so. The 9 appears better for our range at first glance, but considering our lack of blockers it should widen his range considerably. We're beat occasionally, but way too often we have our opponent drawing to 4 or 8 outs ro fold here. It's pretty disastrous not to call off here imo.

Forgot to mention, stacks also feel awkward with a river raise, as the only sizings I can see are making it 140ish, or shoving for 220. If you start 30 ir 40 blinds shallower shoving starts to look a lot better to me.

For hand 1: It feels nitty and a bit exploitable but I think folding here is correct. A 16/13 just doesnt strike me as the sort to barrel off with less than 1p. Knowing how often the villain will 3b would he l p in narrowing hos range, but still. If you're viewed as tight / nitty I dont hate bluff raising the river with your A(s) blocker, but considering how deep you both are I dont know how often you'd just call a flop c/r with the nuts, which would make folding any flush pretty hard.
