On the a53 hand seems like a hard sell to me when you checkraise.Extremely unlikely you flopped a set and you kind of represent 97 and 99 only or hands like the one you had. Seems like a pretty easy spot for him this deep to 3bet bluff you with a LOT, especially any rag hands on his big blind that contain blocker cards like the 7 or 2. Also think you dont always raise 97 here reducing even more your made hands. Do you think people are too scared to get shoved on by mega draws if they 3bet you or something?

hes almost never folding nut flush... 20-40% looks more like 5% MAX to me...
why not call and induce the occasional last barrel praying you only have a set or something.
I mean if youre not inducing at all here its probably one of the worst played hand ive seen in a while.

Enjoyed the video but I gotta admit I'd love to see some kind of 5-10 or 10-20 PLO video with filled 6max tables. Big shorthanded games against oddsen, ilari, etc. are great but I feel its still a way different game than non-nosebleed games that sometimes have a target on the table or sometimes only unknown players. Its just a way different dynamic and I think it hits a lot your audience.
Cheers and happy new year ;)

if it was a blank 2 maybe but I really hate check calling with no heart in hand.
we're still getting f'd on blank rivers if he has a set already and its even doubtful when he shoves river if we're supposed to call if the 4 or 2 pairs since a big part of our range is overpairs.
Add in all the crap that folds to a shove but are live in a real way... I get the concept and that if river is like a king or queen we can call a bluff bet but otherwise I find it extremely hard to play.
Of all the river cards which one are we remotely comfortable with? an offsuit 7?

interesting thanks.
Not so sure about limping complete trash tho but I can see the general pattern if we think they cant pounce on it.

Wondering if there's a good reason to not make a smaller 3bet instead...
the only hand he might fold to 15k instead of 11 or 12 is 73 and he might snap both with that.
Shouldnt you click it back when youre only trying to make bluffs fold?

Hi.
I was just playing 3 handed with two guys w/ relatively standard stats that you can expect from tight players or possibly shot takers (25/15, 28/17, etc), standard aggression numbers on each street, except they had ridiculously low 3bet % even for that kind of player.
I'm talking between 0 and 3.
Then I thought well surely there's some way to capitalize on that and switch my game up to fit them better.
For this example we had about 100bbs.
Obviously we should open near 100% button and very high % from the sb if they dont frustrate us by 3betting our junk but I'm not sure about the sizing we should use in these kind of situation.
Does it mean we should 3.5x every time from the button? Of course this situation is very precise but I'd be interested in your thoughts in similar situations with full tables and how you can change your standard sizing. Also what about passive shorter stacks? Or deeper? Is it just really a case that you can safely steal a ton preflop and that's that?
I get the idea of not putting too much preflop against passive fish to keep them in and slam them when you decide its a good spot but these guys weren't easy targets or played bad postflop, they just clearly had way too low 3bet %.
Thanks, and love the site so far.

Might not have the odds for the odd % he bluffs but you have to consider sleep equity

I think oddsen can check shove a ten here a % of the time...
Dont see how I could sleep folding this for less than a minraise

probably bad to float to bluff the QJT "flush" against a guy you think is barreling/pushing buttons tho, lol.
