Competent pros seldom over limp with premium hands therefore I would rule out AJ, AA, JJ, 88. He might limp 22 but then again why would he not raise the flop especially since v1 will likely give action and the board is very draw heavy. I think we have the best hand MOST of the times unless he played it tricky - but we also wanna give him a chance to fire the river. v2 may well have a combo draw holding and would fire ANY river after having taken that line unless he puts us on a draw that gets there and has him beat. I would very likely check call any card except maybe a heart which he would probably check behind unless he has it since our hand now may look like a heart draw w/ pair or w/ straight draw. And I don't even think v1 necessarily will come along for the 650 which makes it more likely to get a river bet out of v2. I'm probably holding on. What do you think?

Hey Phil!
I guess there's a bunch of money going in pre-flop on every other hand. Love the flop bet - I think the size makes it look super nutsy. What I'm thinking is why would we not bet the turn? Agreed we induce a lotta bluffs on the river and in some spots can c/r bluff and get a fold although a player as SMART AND CURIOUS as Viktor might likely sniff this out. My thoughts:
He almost never raises any street w/o the 3d5d. Assuming he doesn't have that, he could have a set or a smaller flush or a KQ10 but without the blocker he doesn't have too much bluff equity. Viktor knows that we know he's a gambler.
1. So if his flat call looks like a set/3 pair/top 2, why don't we make him pay to see the river.
2. If we're semi bluffing with the blocker and a re-draw, why don't we test him out on the turn knowing that he never raises. Also if we make our hand we may get him to represent the boat.
3. If he does call this river bet, we lose exactly the same amount of money as we would have if we fired the turn as well. I'm guessing he c/c turn and river. In fact as the hand played out, we might even get looked up with a turned wheel.
4. Our play to me is only profitable if we put him on total air in which case our check on the turn gets him to bluff lead the river.
I prefer to bet the turn here but like you I'm clueless as to what he shows up with.
What do u think?

Hey Phil! I'm a recreational poker player mostly playing $5/10-$25/50. I've been playing the game and following all you great players (live tv shows and online) - I have the utmost respect for your game and contribution to the upcoming poker players.
Looking at the hand, with 100bb stack sizes against a player as strong as Viktor (who will most definately get it in with all combo draws and strong 2 pair although it really doesnt look like he checked QJxx in position - I would most likely give him a set of 3s or pair + combo draw - unlikely he has hearts though).
A player like Viktor usually likes to make the pots very big so I would again be less inclined to give him a flopped wrap. Therefore my play here would be to lead out strong (possibly pot bet) on any offsuit 8,9,10,K + all non-paired hearts as we could represent a strong flopped draw and it looks unlikely that Viktor checked back hearts/broadway wrap in position. I think Viktor would lead out if a non paired club or offsuit 4 hits the river - as it looks pretty likely that he has clubs and/or lower wrap. Therefore if we make the nuts there's a decent chance we can c/r and get our stack in. I would c/f all remaining rivers.
Does it make sense?
