Do you prefer PIOSolver over CREV or GTORB etc?

why?
June 9, 2015 | 2:22 p.m.
agree

A8-A7 is not in my range but my guess is we can't go too wrong if we bet our whole range.
June 9, 2015 | 11:27 a.m.
Do you play a 2 street game in 4bp as default or do you think the board is too dynamic to go for 3 streets?
June 9, 2015 | 11:26 a.m.
cbet flop! dont fold river!

"I think, cold call is a better option:
- you dominate UTG
- most of the time you will play postflop IP
- if others also cold call, you can have the top set, AA/KK would 3bet
- if UTG has the AA/KK cold call is also a better option instead of pre stack off"
- We dominate UTGs 3bet flatting ranges as well. Actually vs my UTG open range QQ has 68% equity, vs my 3Bet flatting range QQ has 70%!!! maybe my ranges are bad though...
- if you 3bet, yes.
- Yeah, it's awesome when others have the option to see a cheap flop since poker is a zero sum game and all the equity goes in our pockets.
- We have the option to call a 4bet in most cases.

Agree with xb OTR, but why don't we bet OTT?
June 8, 2015 | 8:02 a.m.
I don't understand why everyone thinks this is a clear fold.
If we jam and villain calls with JJ-TT then we have 27% equity with AcQs so we will lose 11.50 on avg. If we fold to his raise OTF we're going to lose our 4bet+cbet for a total of 9.20. The difference is not that big imo and we're certainly tougher to play against if we jam.
June 7, 2015 | 4:18 a.m.
IMO RFI for every position is very useful.
June 6, 2015 | 6:20 a.m.
I'm really interested in seeing the math for call > jam though. you could be right.
June 6, 2015 | 5:29 a.m.
even if he doesn't fold i realise 100% of my equity and win 45% of the pot. There's always the possibilty that villain is playing QQ like that because he doesn't know what else to do eg.
June 6, 2015 | 5:28 a.m.
we drop from 45% to 26% OTT and in theory we should always have a little bit of FE.
If we call OTF and fold OTT we're always losing the money we invested so far instead of realising 100% of our equity.
June 6, 2015 | 5:13 a.m.
I think we have to call down, we block the nuts and we beat any non flush/straight value combos.
June 6, 2015 | 5:10 a.m.
it sucks but i agree with folding OTT.
June 6, 2015 | 5:08 a.m.
4bet gii vs SB and fold vs MP imo
June 6, 2015 | 5:07 a.m.
+1 jam turn
June 6, 2015 | 5:06 a.m.
well played
June 6, 2015 | 5:05 a.m.
agree with Limpsons, without maniacs involved i think it's fine to just fold. We won't print money by jamming and we have just 3BB invested.
June 6, 2015 | 5:04 a.m.
His line doesn't make sense to me, i call.
June 6, 2015 | 5:02 a.m.
I think x/c turn is a solid play. I expect to lose a bunch to 9x and FHs but i'm calling down. There should be enough bluffs in his range imo.
June 6, 2015 | 4:59 a.m.
we have 45% vs AA and the pot is already pretty big, so i'm jamming.
June 6, 2015 | 4:56 a.m.
i hate folding too but Limpson is right, no good cards for us and we could be dead already.

"Very true statement. Solving 118bb HU NLHE as a 9x-open push/fold game will make you very exploitable."
June 5, 2015 | 9:51 p.m.
:O didn't thought ante's makes that huge of a difference.
I thought we need to defend more than MDF!?
If we defend MDF villain can call AA only and makes +++EV since he's already breakeven pre!?
June 5, 2015 | 9:21 p.m.
only my 4bet range is value heavy.
June 5, 2015 | 8:17 p.m.
Ahigh is just a part of my range. You have to worry about my AA-QQ.
I'm mostly exploiting the fact that people don't 3bet often enough in these spots and tend to 4bet for value most of the time though.
Vs a good player i need to defend GTOish and i think AQo is simply a good bluff.
you'll do fine!
btw using a smaller sizing OTF allows us to bluff more hands.
