Hand @ 15:30 with A4cc i think the CL limp makes a ton of sense given that the short stack has 2.96bb , if he raises and the short stack jams everyone else has a pretty easy call with alot of their range, when he limps and short stack jams it gives the perception that he can limp 3b which probably incentivizes alot more folds from the other 3 opponents. nit picking though, probably doesnt make much of a difference. thanks for the video

Also last hand... whenever I make bluffs live I always feel really nervous and scared I’m going to give something away especially after the opponent tanks for a while. Am I overthinking it or does that happen to a lot of people?

@18:20 you say if you were chewy you would squeeze so I have a couple of questions.
1. Is 36bb too much to jam here?
2. If you use a smaller squeeze sizing say like 900k would you be 3 bet folding?

I’d shove, pay jump is only 2k you already have 9k locked, you’re going to get it through really often and if you’re called and you double you’re right back in contention with a little run good.

Not going to leave some 3 paragraph comment. We have Kings. Lol I’d rather jam pre for 2 reasons
1. SB is getting 3-1 to call and most likely won’t be folding a hand he cold called 140 often and you don’t really wanna go 3 ways with so much in the middle already
2. If he does have Aces you’re never folding a 672 or any similar flop anyways. So yeah I’m just jamming and picking up $700 or getting coolered by aces.

If you’re bankrolled to play the tournament I think you should almost always be getting the add on , unless you’re massive CL or something

Sounds like this guy is going to bust early so often. I wouldn’t have much of a calling range against him unless you are last to act and know no one is going to squeeze behind. It’d be so easy for someone to squeeze after he opens and you flat since you shouldn’t be flatting him strong since he never folds. Against a guy like this id probably 3 bet to get in 99+ and AQ+. He’s just too loose. If he’s opening 20x utg with A8 you’re just gonna have to go with these hands I think and try to maneuver post flop if he flats your 3 bet.

Your preflop raise sizing doesn’t give you much fold equity... not many people are calling 5 then folding to 25, I like to make it 30-40 OOP here after a limp.. 2nd hand after a raise to 15 and a call making it 60 isn’t going to get both players to call almost ever but at least you’re in position on this one. I’d like a squeeze of 70-80 here. First hand as player after the check I like to check raise with $180 already in the pot you can’t let these guys draw out on you. You have the best hand so often I think after a bet of $50 and a call it’s time to protect your hand a little. 2nd hand you have to raise that donk lead. As played it’s a tough turn spot and not sure what I’d do

Agree with necro, for your third example if you are going all in out of turn in a $10/$20 game then you deserve to lose.. lol know the rules stop acting out of turn.

How do you determine if you start with 3 or 5 cards

Disagree with 1/4 or 1/3 pot bet, BB has huge range advantage here and he has so many flop continues( any pair, flush draw open ender, gutshot) the only good reason to bet here would to be to get him off something like 55... also you have no backdoors and no barreling cards besides an ace maybe so I’d just try to get this hand to showdown and fold brick turns to a stab
