doesnt betting small take care of everything and saving you money? the board seems so dry that you can get away with making it smaller than usual and still take it down.

would placing a smaller size bet on turn and river be a better or worse alternative to our check/calling turn play and why? If he is bluffing the turn, he wont fire the river anyway right? This will allow him to call with second pairs or smaller pocket pairs vs. checking back the river.

Would raising flop or turn be bad? When people donk like this I feel like it is something like a draw or top pair weak kicker and putting aggression on them will put them in a bad spot. Since we have some future equity, and if we are picking good turn/ river cards to fire, does raising here somewhere make this a good play or are we spewing?

I wouldn't bet this flop due to the cold call from the BB. It is likely to be a fairly tight range that wont be folding this flop most of the time.

I would cbet bigger, like 4.50-5.00 in order to charge draws. Without anymore reads on villian, I dont think you can fold here. First of all, I think it is unlikely he would ship for $22 over your $3 bet with a made flush. It is more likely that he would do this with something like a bare Ace of spades or a lower pocket pair with a spade.
