Imo, if you're in the US and aren't playing on one of the state regulated sites, you should be aware that there is inherent risk. Luckily, withdrawals are fast and easy if you use btc so I recommend either not playing on these sites at all, or only playing limits you're comfortable with, and only leaving an amount on the site that wouldn't be much of a financial impact if it were to be lost. You could even pull out your entire roll daily and redeposit whenever you want to play.

These sites are unregulated and could shut down literally at any time. They could (and probably do) also have bots and/or other nefarious things going on that a licensed company wouldn't be able to get away with. It just is what it is.

Unfortunately, thats pretty much the state of online poker in the US. All we can do is try to take precautions to protect ourselves, and try to make good, informed decisions.

I didnt read all of the chat, too long, but from what i understand the 10nl boost tables are only eligible for the Boost bad beat jackpot, and not the regular bbj. If youre on a 10 boost table when the big bad beat hits, you dont get anything as far as i understand it. They are 2 completely different jackpots

I 100% agree with Quido, from what I've seen, every time Ive made hero calls on these huge types of overbets, they always have it. I fold here as played.

Villain has hands like 55, A5hh, A5dd in his range here that could be making these plays.

I also feel like, if hes a thinking player, he'd be thinking that you have more 5's in your range as the caller from the bb, so its a pretty risky bluff imo.

Also, I do like leading w sets every now and then, but on a board like this I think Im more likely to go for a c/r on the flop to try to really deny equity to draws, and you may get an overpair to just over jam since the board is so wet
