I think this is a very tough spot because when you call twice on this board you usually have very few Tx compared to a lot of weak onepair hands. QK is the best onepair hand you will ever have in this spot. Not to mention that u never have any kind of full because i think you will raise all twopairs on the flop on this board. So you are really capped. When the opponent is a good player he does know that and that he can represent a fuckn bunch of strong madehands and that u can close to never call 3 barrels when u take that line..... i dont know exactly if it is +ev to call but vs some very aggressiv opponents which think the way described before and turn every fdraw AJ KJ J9 and so on into a bluff on the river i do make this call sometimes. But i need reads for it. Also i dont know if this is +ev at all in the longrun because it depends on so much things.....

i often run in spot like e.g. (this is just a sampel could be any spot like this also in a non 3bet pot)
6Max game-
i OR OTB and the BB 3bets and i call 88.
flop is like Q46r
BB cbets, i call
turn is a complete blank
BB checks, I am thinking about checking or betting
- usually in this spot a bet doesnt acomplish much because there are like no worse hands that would call
- also betting for protection doenst make sense because average equity vs me should be 12%
- but if i am betting and he calls i have an easy decision on the river because i can check back any rivers and sometimes win vs AK and dont have to play guessing game when i check back turn and a K or A hits on the river and he starts betting or lets say the river is a blank and he starts betting because he knows i have no Q and that i have marginal SD value.
So in conclusion i think betting here small on the turn avoids me doing mistakes OTR.
I am a little bit confused about spots like this. What do you think?

@chessfan: he coldcalls alot: all scs, pairs, Axs, some connectorsÂ
@putmyrobeonrite: i dont have CREV. I should get it. After thinking a while you are completly right without reads that he semibluffs picked up strong draws or is verry aggressiv and raises alot it should be a fold. Because the normal recreational player thinks "oh jeah more outs easy call".
