Laurens,

Although you enjoy emptying my Stars roll in our 5card sparring, I still love you.

Great content and enjoyable approach for us guys who remain somewhat more exploitative as opposed to GTO.

Thank pal.

Great video, I like your approach to spots and how you appreciate that it's still important to focus vs the weaker players etc, on their tendencies and to not get stuck auto piloting at any moment.

Good work!

Leo around 22mins you folded the 9876hh in the SB to an UTG open - it was during the pot where you're facing large pot with 9652ds - is this a standard fold for you, seems crazy tight, or were you just distracted by the bigger pot happening at the same time?

I think in general we've made a mistake raising flop here. 9x and overs is too strong a hand to be turning into a bluff, on the flipside it's also a strong enough hand that we don't really need to be raising to protect much. We have 8 clean turn outs to give us a very strong hand and we have more outs that we can continue on. Having the 5 in our hand gives us a relevant blocker should be consider either having to turn our hand into a bluff on some run outs and equally if we need to have information to bluff catch with our hand later on.

I think once we've raised and been faced with this action we have no option but to go ahead and fold. We block a 9, which is relevant but if villain is tricky aggro enough he'll be stacking off with a range of strong value stuff all of which we're a decent equity dog against. Villain range here could be wraps, sets 9s up, albeit shouldnt be too many 9s up but he's probably iso'ing pretty wide given your description of him so there will be some 9s up.

Great video. So many spots covered! Cheers Phil

I think hand number 1 we probably have to give up right? Just because we don't have enough houses to get him to fold a flush and if we bet 1k into 3k he's got a really good price on his call if he feels we turn enough 4xxx and AA/KK into a bluff. Blocking no big spades it's probably too adventurous to assume we can rep those higher flushes.

I'm not one to rag much and I'm a huge fan of your live videos and they've helped my high stakes game leaps and bounds for sure but I think for 'Elite' material (I'm guessing this Elite material and not Essential like your other stuff) this was kinda weak. I think that you have to either do a longer review, 45min-1hr, or you have to specifically go through and have pre determined hands that you break down. There just wasn't enough spots that were discussed and the spots that generally did come up were pretty much beginner level PLO (perhaps too harsh but they weren't particularly challenging spots).

Like I say, usually love your material Zach but just think for $100/pm material these session reviews should be more in depth.

ATT9 hand just seems really off, think checking back here is a pretty big mistake vs the amount of hands he can stack off with on the turn with hands in his range picking up clubs on the turn

I think we should still be leading turn with our eq and range advantage vs rsmig. Not having a pair our showdown value isn't strong enough.

In the hand vs Berri when he pots the river, when you have JJ87ddss,given that we've bet flop and checked back on turn doesn't out range skew towards have hands that have some slim showdown value such as Txxx JJxx Qxxx and so on. Therefore it feels unlikely that he's ever going to be bluffing this river for that size with a high frequency. Feels like it's a little optimistic to call as a result.

Also vs Ronny with the QJT3 on the 3 club board. On the turn you say that with his sizing, $1.7K, setting up river jams that we're going to be in a really tough spot on rivers. It feels like therefore we should perhaps be folding as our hand isn't going to improve much but the board can change a ton and he's always going to bet big twice here. Or is it more a case that our hand is too strong on the turn and too good a bluff catcher that it's more -EV to be giving up given we improved on the turn?

Also you seem to fold a lot of pretty strong hands on the button A332ss etc, was that due to just trying to limit the action because you were running low on timebank or was that part of a pre flop strategy?

Alexo, vs Kareempirias you flat in the CO with AKQT with a nut suit in position. What's your reason for not 3betting. Does he open exceptionally tight or do you not like to turn a powerful hand like this into one that has trouble in 4bet pots. I guess you feel there is more value to be made having this hand as a part of a balanced pre flop strategy? Also, if the hand was squeezed behind and Kareem flat would you prefer flatting behind or re-shipping?

Yeah really good video, a bunch of the spots were quite straightforward but I think that's not always a bad thing as these are the spots we're more likely to get lazy with. Wp.
