After studying some hands that I played in the recent 10k PLO WSOP event on GGPoker I noticed I made some huge passive blunders that I need to iron out of my shortstack game. I've frequently made mistakes shortstacking where I just call instead of raising a hand I should have raised so with todays video I want to make an end to that once and for all...

A question that gets asked all the time: Is Rush&Cash beatable? I always found it hard to answer this question as I didn't have any personal experience in the pool. I decided to make an end to that today. I played for some time in the 1$/2$ Rush&Cash pool to see how people play. Is everyone super solid? Is it a rake trap? The answer will be given at the end of the video

The C-Bet - check - bet line is incredibly common in poker. It is also one of the more tricky situations to bluff because you just end up on the river with so much air and natural bluffs. How do we select which hands to bluff? And how big should we bluff? Join Horseofhell as he answers these questions by splitting this spot into two distinct categories: capped and uncapped rivers.

Betting the turn after the preflop raiser didn't C-Bet is one of the most common and important spots in PLO. It's one of the main ways we make back a lot of EV in the big blind so it's vital that we play this spot well. In this video Horseofhell walks you through several different hands he studied on this spot in the past couple of days. He also specifically pays attention to river play. Because for us to be able to effectively bet a hand on the turn, we need to know on which rivers we can continue bluffing on. He also discusses some important river bluffing concepts: It's not always important what you do have, sometimes it's important to consider what you DON'T have!

Writing down results of hands that we've studied is vital. We are studying many hands (hopefully) over the weeks/months and it's easy to forget certain concepts we've learned. Or even worse, we might forget the context of certain concepts that we learned therefore misapplying them in game. To avoid this it's great practice to periodically go over some of the hands you've studied. Join Horseofhell as he practices what he preaches and recaps some of the hands that he found interesting and studied over the past few weeks.
