hey guys, so I just played this hand https://www.boomplayer.com/26922193_72A6AE558A against a potencial reg of nl25 that was playing 4 tables (no more info)
On the River I made some consideration
Have the K of hearts was good because he thinks that I had more chance to be on FD
I`m also blocking a lot of his value hands on the range AA, KTs and KK, ATs, AQ
JJ should check the turn
So he value range was caped between AQo, KJs, TJs, KK,
Against his bluffs range QJs, 99 and missed flushes
I think that i should fold

Nice video. Very good didactic indeed.
Heres one thought...
On the A2o spot, I really think that flatting is not an option. Although we have the raw equity against his 3betting range, a2o realizes equity so badly.
Lets take a look at the options. We do flop an ace, and have to play it very safely because of our dominated range. Or we dont... And what we are doing? Floating with ace high?
Basicaly were putting a lot of money to fold to many flop designs.
If were trying to do something, I would prefer jamming pre...
Buy anyways just folding for me is the +ev move, almost always.
Thanks !!

1) 88 Call.
Why ?
First you don't want to bluff this hand, if you 3bet and get jam you are going to face a terrible situation otherwise he can also flat and you are going to play a big pote OOP with a hand that often don't get a equity , fold is not a option, so why not play a post flop vs a range that is wild and probably not are going to make a huge pot?
2) Flat is ok , 4bet is also ok , it depends of your game, but on the board K334r i would check behind and jam on the river, there isn't bad river for you, basically a K. And you open space for them to bluff you

I think that depends of your strategy and where is your comfort zone, besides that, you need to judge if you have edge on the mtt, if you have, see that the table is easy go for it, otherwise no. So i think that u should consider this 3 factors, BBs( confront zone), Edge and the speed of the tournament

Hey Akira! Great video again, thanks a lot for your information !!
I just have a few doubts , and if you could answer it would be amazing
1) First hand of the top table left, When you open 44 with 22bbs, you are opening to jam if get a 3bet or to fold? You said that was a steal hand, i would like to understand why you think that, since the hand had no blockers, and there all of the table to talk.
2) 37:10 on bottom left table, when you said that is more EV opening K9s than Jaming , i totally agree with you, but i was thinking the effective stack is 11bbs, so if you were in the Bottom with 11bbs and the big your stack, would you play the same way K9s? Why ?
3) Its a general question, in the end of the video you said that playing the ABC poker is enough to beat the medium stakes field, with solid ranges and etc, on high stakes what do you think that we should add? ( Speaking generally )
Thanks Again man! Have a good day

Hi guys, so i`m looking to be more discipline on the tables, and one way that i thought that i could do this is by pre selection the minimum number of big blinds to enter in a tournament normal structure or fast structure, anyone here has this number clean? Like on regular i only enter with 40bbs+ turbo 25bbs+ e etc?
Thanks for the attention

Vs the Lag players that are putting pressure on the table its ok to shove, to avoid pressure on the turn and your SPR it is like 3 times the pot .
Calling its also fine too, because there isn't to many bad turns and you are also blocking good turns for his range (8) .

Very good video, enjoyed a lot, but i have a question, on the hand of the table 2 on the minute 29 T8s , is standard to call the flop bet size on the flop with 8 outs ? and them the turn half pot with 8 outs that mean 16% of odds ? I know that is a basically question and im new at RIO, but in this little things that we change on our game make a huge difference , after this video i think that im over folding my draws, i know that have a lot of implied odds but i would like to know how many equity the implied give to us, thanks
! And again, great video

Hi guys, so i`m a new essential member of the community and i really enjoying a lot the material here, but i didt find yet a good HUD for cash game low stakes, i use the PT4 and i dont know what stats to use, can anyone help me ? Thanks a lot
I think the problem in mtt fields about opening atc from the btn is to showdown cards like 52o or 83o... It'll make ppl overreact (both correct and "ego" reactions) and do stuff with, as you said more "funky hands", and start to make things much harder for us. I rather stick to a, let's say, 70% range, that will exploit a lot the nit's on the field and will not "shock" that much.
Even against a complete fish, if he goes "mad", it'll be a LOT harder to exploit him, rather than a predictable, nittier one, especially when multitabling...
