Was sweating the bluff hard for you there, nh :D Can be forgiven checking back the nuts given you were clearly flustered by the other table. Great video and love all your other vids <3

Exercises:
1) Expecting more folds in case b), given our opponent is overfolding the flop we expect them to be folding a lot of hands that connect with the Q on the flop.
2) a) Expecting overcalls, while similar logic applies here as in 1) our opponent is no longer overfolding the flop and a lot of their continuance range will pick up pairs/ draws to continue.
b) Overcalls, clearly there's a lot of hands that have a reason to call the turn now as there's a lot of pair+SD hands as well as TP/ SPGK hands which aren't wanting to fold anyway.
c) Overfold, in reality I expect a lot of players to overcall in this spot as people tend to be too stubborn on static runouts, however the question says villain is playing optimally and in this case, the turn card doesn't bring in a great deal of draws as a lot of 4x and 5x is folding the flop.
I think I have the right thought process here but not sure, any feedback would be appreciated, thanks for a great video!

Great video. Could be the most informative on RIO. Love the format, would welcome a live play and explain too. Good work and look forward to the next one

hi sauloCosta10, how did you set piosolver to show strategy as a % value as opposed to a decimal value? thanks in advance!

How do you recommend identifying players whose strategies are exploitable in these spots, especially the exploits you mention where they wouldn't be identifiable from a single showdown, or from any realistic sample size data-wise? What kind of heuristics do you use?

Agree on the sizing, kind of got into the habit of 3-betting 8.5bb v 2.5-3x opens, I guess I need a smaller size v 2-2.25x opens.

I don't have a calling range CO v MP unless there are good incentives to deviate. QJs is towards the bottom of that range, I guess it depends how you construct your ranges. My 3-bet range in these positions is roughly 9.5% does this seem too high?

Agree with post-flop!

big fan of the "very recreational" label as opposed to the "moron" "beluga" "brain damaged" tags i have

Gonna be a pretty easy jam vs Ax bdfd that has to peel flop vs sizing

Would recommend PIO, Monker has it's utilities but is (IMO) more difficult to use, less intuitive and you need a dream machine to be solving MW pots at any reasonable SPR regularly. I don't have much experience with GTO+ but have been recommended to stick to PIO by friends

Thanks for the response Nick it has helped a lot, I look forward to seeing content from you in the future :)

Hi Nick, great video. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to PLO and I'm trying to improve so there was a lot of information that I will try to execute from this video and I found it very useful. One of my concerns however is that I don't feel entirely comfortable with preflop equities and I would like to know how to respond to 4b a little more, both from the UTG player and vs back raises. I assume that all of our AAxx hands that squeeze here will have to get it in, as well as some of our JT98 ds etc however I am a little less sure with hands like AKKx with a nut suit or hands like AKQ5 ds as there perform very badly against AA which I imagine will be a large part of villain's range when they get it in. Intuitively it seems that villain will have a very profitable 4b vs us here as I would imagine most of our range to be in the 3bF category, however I'm not too sure.

Also, apologies if you addressed this (there was a lot to take in) but I didn't see any hands like JJT9s for example, would you say this was too weak to squeeze and performs better in our flat range? How about JJT9 ds?

Thanks in advance, look forward to future content.

Hi Tyler, great video again.

At the start of the video you talk about constructing a GTO xb range including Q9 in the bvb spot on QJ6r. Do you have any advice for constructing xb ranges in these spots compared to just betting our stronger top pairs for value? I feel like when checked to here bvb Q9 would always fall into our flop blockering range but I’m unsure of how I should be constructing my checking range here IP.

Cheers

Loved the video, certainly a lot to think about when exploiting different kinds of opponents. My question is how do we adjust our strategy vs a larger lead on the flop? For example, let's say villain leads $35, of course we are still going to want to have floats however I would imagine that a lot of them will now play better as raises or folds given that our price to continue is worse. This is a hand in particular that I'm interested in as it has very strong backdoor equity and is an ideal float, however I can't imagine it being profitable to float vs a $35 lead (maybe I'm wrong) and I don't see myself raising vs that size very liberally for value, so do these hands just have to start hitting the muck in this case? I only ask as I play a lot live and often find myself having to respond to ridiculous sizes with relatively strong backdoor hands in spots like these.
