Great video. Something i would never do in almost any circumstance. Makes perfect sense and a solid breakdown.

Top 3 tips on how to change your game and crush like this? Even if they are super simple or something which just clicked for you?

You should watch this video then call: http://www.runitonce.com/pro-training/videos/mark-lammers-nlhe-hand-review/. These raises all seemed to be random 1 pair hands being turned into a bluff.

One problem about our hand here is the strength is completely face up so villain knows will be a hero call spot for us. I think calling down leaves it super tough for us to be exploited in future similar spots here. Its a tough call down to make ofc but calling a 3b in this spot and flopping semi good its tough to fold. It is super super close and having reads on villain will help. Thoughts on folding pre or 4betting?

To nitty to just fold flop here? With no diamond and facing pots from fish i just let it go. We really cant call down on these boards profitably. And when fish pot bet they generally have it

Disagree! We get called by tons of hands we beat. A lot of overpairs with c, sets, 2 pairs, bare ac. I go for an obv jam here. Pots big, villains repping huge so lets get value now. We dont want a bad card to roll off which ends our action. Villain will snap a set here but check fold if a c comes on river.

Had a really bad sessions yesterday. Lost 11 buy ins which hurt a lot. My bankroll is still healthy but it never feels great to go on a downer like that. Maybe i should have a stop loss but i just felt i was playing well and its all about the long run right?

Going to really work on my game this month. I play 100nl rush so going to watch tons of vids on here of similar games. Can anyone recommend any to me?

Also going to play 2 tables for the rest of the month. Want to really pay attention to the games, get tons of notes and fix my leaks.

Leaks to fix

- Opening more btns

- Defending ranges in the blinds

- Check/folding to much post flop

Lets hope i crush this month!

Post | GGWTD posted in Chatter: Rushing Like A Mad Man

As you can tell from my title i play rush games only. I prefer these as i get more hands in and i also believe in 5 years time everything will be a zoom variant. I think it would be better for the game which i will talk about more in some future posts.

A little about me

Age: 27

Stakes: 50-200nl

Sites: Across most

Occupation: Poker

Fav food: ATM probs Indian

Fav Drink: Cider

VIP level: Black Card

I have played professionally for a long time now with some amazing and also terrible times. I feel right now i am playing the best i ever have and can boast a near 3bb/100 win rate < Not beast mode but with the volume i play and rakeback i can make a solid living here. I hope to slightly improve on this of course but tbh if i could get to 400 and 500nl winning at 3bb/100 i will be living the dream. The aim is to get here by 2015!

Lifetime rush graph

On a bit of a downswing atm but this graph is basically made up of 100k 50nl, 80k 100nl then a few 200nl hands. As soon as that hits around 4k profit i will be back up to 200nl and trying to go from there.

Registered here on the $100 a month plan. Deffs a lot of money but i do appreciate why this is the pricing. I really hope to learn a lot from the videos and become a better player.

Thanks for reading and i really hope you follow my journal and please feel free to comment anytime.
