About Party's rake structure... You mentiond that at nl50 its 2bb CAP, but actually its 6bb cap, just take a look:

https://www.partypoker.com/en/how-to-play/software/rake-blind-structure

Even if you meant HU games still at nl25 its 4bb CAP not 2bb

Hi. What should be proper adjustment vs this playerpool

CO vs BTN fold vs 3bet 42%, 4bet 20%
And after they call 3bet my cbet succes is only 22.2%

Should i widen my range or tighten (now it's 12% bet BTN vs CO)? Should i increase sizing preflop 3bets? I own PIO license but cannot make preflop sims. For now i am using ranges that i bought for NL100 rake but i play nl25 with 2x higher rake.

Ive implemented strategy that almost never cold calls (only in big blind) and only 4bets vs 3bets to avoid paying rake but this playerpool tends to call as phuck which ruins all my plans.

Do you think that playing on a site that doesn't allow using HUD would have impact on your winrate? Would be lower? Maybe higher?

Onkleb

Maybe this illustrates the point im trying to make. Even though im pretty confident playing vs regs and think i have edge over many of them, i still make only 1bb/100 on all reg table (after rake obviously). But when you add few fishes to table wr immediately jumps to 10bb/100.

Ah, man, i just checked this stats in my database and im winning 3bb/100 vs 0 fish, and losing -1bb/100 when 3 fish at the table. You opened my eyes how to increase winrate :D

Onkleb Don't you think that players play differently at zoom tables where you cannot buy hands?

I didn't reffer to "where the money comes from" but to "most study should focus on fish". I think that you cannot play 27/22 and and win not studying mostly spots vs regs. You play more marginal +ev spots vs fish and vs regs. Guess which are tougher and require more studying.

" Almost all money comes from funplayers, so most of your study should focus on them."

I don't agree :P You are playing 27/22/12 style so almost ALL of your hands you play vs regs. If you want to win at poker you must be at least 0ev vs regs and that requires lots of knowledge. It's not a nice thing to win a lot from funplayer just to lose it all to regs ;)

Hi guys. How should i approach to choosing preflop ranges? Should i pick gto ranges, should i use mix strategies or just raise/fold strategy? Should i care about it at all or i should focus on general concepts and mechanism?

Feb. 27, 2020 | 10:33 a.m.

Can you give me an example of such spot lets say when were in BB vs BTN where we want to xr bigger sizing? Or maybe not that we want but it's best option?

Dec. 15, 2019 | 2:38 a.m.

Hi. When i watch courses and videos from pros, they all seem to raise something like 55% PSB vs cbet or 4x while when i put this scenario into PIO it almost always prefers 3x even vs 33% cbet. Why is that and why pros x/r and raise cbets so big? Maybe it's easier to build cbet raise with 4x size because you should raise less then?

Dec. 14, 2019 | 10:04 p.m.

Thanks, mate. Next week i will spend on working on these spots.

Hi guys! Recently i spoke with my friend who was in Howard's CFP program 2-3 years ago. Generally what i found out is that Nick suggested to call a lot for example BTN vs CO with hands like QTo and A8s about 15-20% range basically it's because players cbet flop, x/f turn a lot. I tried this out and it seems not working i ended up with -16bb/100 winrate. Games are different than 2-3 years ago or it requires like 10 000 sample size with CC on the button? Or maybe i dont float often enough.

From the other hand there's a trend to not have cold call range and only 3bet. I tried this too and im winning 66bb/100 with JJ+, AK excluded.

What kind of approach do you use and what is your winrate? Is Howard's approach outdated?

Is there any science about rake inpact? Is it worth to cold call because weak players will cover losses caused by rake?

Dec. 7, 2019 | 4:20 p.m.

Winrate from SB is -20bb/100, from bb -43bb/100 which combined gives -32bb/100,

Its such a big number that always make me think if i could make it smaller to like -25bb/100... i would have 7bb/100 higher winrate :D

Dec. 7, 2019 | 3:06 a.m.

ah i forgot about this factor :D at nl25 its 7bb/100 rake

Post | FishPoker posted in NLHE: how to stop bleeding nonsd

My results so far:

Doesnt look good but im not a losing player. My nonsd is -10bb/100 if i could fix that and lose only half of it i would have nice winrate. I dont ask you for the answers, i ask for tips where to start to find spots/situations that cause me so much losing.

here are graphs by positions.

SB+BB:

UTG+MP:

CO+BTN:

By looking at these graphs i can say that blinds are my biggest leaks or maybe im not winning big enough from other positions to cover losses from blind?

Could you recommend me some books/coursers or RIO series about defending vs cbets OOP at nl25/50? I have these GTO charts to defend vs sizing + PFR so preflop its not a big deal to me.

Still i am trying to rebuild my roll playing nl25. So far it's not that bad. I know that 170k hands it's not a sample but i dont expect to be under 2.5bb/100 ever. Look at the rake. It's huge. More than 7bb/100. Ine the old days, when i had Supernova, i would get like 50% back from it. Old days... Hope these gold age of poker will happen one more time.

So im back with 2500$ bankroll and i feel like i wasted month. Really bad feeling that makes me i dont want to study and play anymore. Maybe it's a good time for a 2 days break?
