would you still go for a x/r, regardless villains pot bet?

If we bet the turn it has to be pot, so if villains calls I think that his range is pretty much draws like 678x, 674x; so maybe I'm folding on a T, maaaybe on a 9 but I'm not so sure, I might be wrong.
And lol yeah, I also have that feeling that they bet almost always when it gets check to them.

p1ndakaas,
yeah, definitely x/ca is by far the worst line to take.
Tom,
thank you, awesome reply! And I totally agree that we should bet/gii since these 2 villains are passive/weak.
Also I'm not sure about this but now that villains bets pot ott, against his perceived range, is it better to fold or x/shove?

Given his bet sizing otf (seems weak to me), I'd rather lead ott and get value otr on safe cards

Without any stats or reads, I don't think you played it bad for 2 reasons:
1. you block top and middle set and also straight outs.
2. he's also jamming all his wrap+flush draw in which case you're flipping .
So with all this I don't think it's a fold. Finally, make a note on villain because he is playing trashy hands oop and it's going to be profitable to play more pots with him.

I agree with jonna. Unless you have a big history vs. villain, I think you could 4bet this hand. Now, this deep, IP and with this nice (but not super great) hand I would have called without hesitation; change that 8 for an A or K and I'm 4betting all day

the thing is I wouldn't know what to do vs a raise (even more I'm pretty sure, on the micro stakes, that it's going to be a pot size raise), so given stats if I check I think he's going to bet with most of his range and raising can win the pot right there
am I right here?

I was playing very tight atm, but decided to c/r given villain stats (think my c/r could be bigger) and play for stacks without any concern.
c/c was an option here?

also i'm not a fan with the 3bet because of villians stats, even if it's a small sample. Therefore his range is pretty much K9+ imo
and the 75% sizing otf is good, it wouldn't change much i think
I'd lean towards a x/c on that J turn and also on a Q or T. I mean, the fact that you have top2 (blocking sets) + the nut fd, it's more likely that villain's range contain more straight draws; maybe something like QJTx:ss.
The problem is that villain is passive, as you said, and makes me want to bet for max value, but when you get raise it sucks really hard with this type of hands. So x/c is my preferred option.
