Yeah i would also play it that way, you occasionally run into a set. but at those stakes alot of players just put you on aces because of your low VPIP / PFR in the session.

Hey, thanks for hte reply both.
Yeah i know i can reload, i just dont like the idea because alot of poker players tell themselves they are winning players, but just got on a downswing, when in fact they are losing players that went on a heater.
I am only playing poker in my spare time, but i love to improve and maybe perhaps one day it will be enough to live off. One can have dreams :-).

Hey Guys
I am playing on boss media and the games are really soft at PLO 30 - PLO 100. I got a 30BB / 100 stat, but i cant figure out if this is durable in the long run. if its even remotely doable i will soon move up, but i want 100 buyins before moving up, as i never want to ever have to deposit again and fool myself into saying "i am a winning player", as so many losing players have done before me.
Breakdown of win is something like this: 10 BB / 100 for non showdown and 20BB / 100 for showdown.
So what do you think, has it been luck? I have run a tiny bit over EV for allin EV.

Hey
Have anyone here seen some calculations of how big the rake should be before you lose your edge. I ask this question because i am playing PLO at 0.25 / 0.5, but i have never really heard of anyone coming up the ranks here (except odd odsen, but he started with 100 buyins at 0.25 / 0.5. The players are really exploitable and i have a ton of +EV playing them, i am also making money. I am just afraid its not possible in the long run, because every pro i have heard of took the SNG route till rake got to be a lot less.
Basically i am considering playing PLO HU instead of PLO 6max which is atm my preferred game and do this through SNGs. I find that i am good at picking up tendencies and i think i am betting a good enough amount of my range to print money on blinds and generally just outplay postflop.
Which route would you take, any pros got a suggestion?
I laughed so hard at the double suited hand with QTJ2. "I just have too much equity to fold... espescially when I hit a backdoor boat" 8-D... good job so much mind candy in these videos. you are really a good teacher Phil.
