As with all general questions.... "it depends".
That said, JTo is in the top 20ish% of hands and so a majority of the time this will be a defend.

Came on here to suiggest the same, and will instead just add a big +1 here. Especially in mtt's, and at which depths/SPR's etc it's appropriate

Hi OP,
You might enjoy this thread:

I woudnt worry. If it's only Sauce who can teach you things you're probably doing ok! :)

It's called a Progressive Super Knockout. ;)
The title is potentially misleading as it implies this is a 109 Hyper with a KO element. Maybe ppl won't watch it as a result.

Shaping up whereby a few heroes will be in for a Nov 9 shout!
Is Max Greenwood the brother of the RIO Greenwood twins?
July 13, 2015 | 10:34 p.m.
indeed, very tough field. As you would expect.
If i interpretted a few tweets cprrectly it seems there were some "promised" rich business men who didn't show. In fact, there were some listed on the tourneys website.
Makes some of the mark ups people sold action higher than they perhaps should be.

ofc he can. His every video has been good so far imo.
And his understanding of Theory/theory vids are all excellent and the content is unaffected by his transition

Is this HUD available in PokerTracker, or is it something totally new?
Ive seen it on some other videos also. Seems interesting.
I use HEM currently

I think it's entirley reachable to play 100NL at cash. And Md stakes Mtt schedule. The latter has complications however, with variance due to low volume.
June 2, 2015 | 3:57 p.m.
Whether it's COOP's, EPT's or WSOP's there always a good showing from the RIO roster.
GL indeed!

Pretty sure the replay might show Lasagnaaaam 3betting light enough himself!
Care to hire him RIO? ;)

First!

The trouble I have with x/raising flop is that it isolates us vs a lot of the hands that beat us. And at these stack depths it's going to be hard to show our queen as a winner ever, and sometimes even our flush. It's also going to be hard to gii goo on the flop etc.
Given the 8 surely benefits our range the most, how about a x/raise on the turn, or a turn lead?

Cool thread. I too struggle with these awkward spots.
April 28, 2015 | 3:55 p.m.
Interesting findings.
When you've played around with pio to this point, have you found that their solutions seem to "protect" their checking ranges very much?
I wonder if these softwares are just usually quite comfortable capping their ranges somewhat given they can call down effectively.
April 28, 2015 | 9:42 a.m.
Yeah, I mean this in the most complimentary fashion but you do seem somewhat robotic often. Just seem to kno wyour own plan instantly in most spots. I enjoy watching your vids the most in general from the whole MTT essential roster. And that's not to detract from the others necessarily.

In additon, for the mtt pro's the sharing of their HH files would also be excellent.
It should allow for viewers to make more informed comments based on HRC/ICMIizer calcs etc and in general it would be amazing if I were able to go through a pro's HH and make my own thoughts before pressing play and seeing how it differs with the pro's.
I'd definitely understand if pro's were reluctant to do this though.
The other danger is it gives away information on the villains. and I'm really not sure if this would be a violation of the terms of poker sites. More I think of it it could well be.
If possible though, it would be great.
in any case, definite +1 to the CREV files.
April 20, 2015 | 2:13 p.m.
Not that cost is an issue, but if you have CREV already they added an Equilibrium beta this week which may also be able to do it for you.
Info here: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/equilibrium.html
Where this differs to PIOsolver etc is you can just input the flop or preflop ranges and "chekdown" the rest of the tree which i think makes calculations a little easier to compute. (correct me if I'm wrong here?).
WOuld be also interested to see how the CREV solutions compare to Piosolver though if anybody has both? I assume they should ve very similar when given the same constraints.

really cool idea Dan
April 14, 2015 | 12:20 a.m.
His bluff should have EV>>0 because his check does also. It's explained in the video by Steve linked earlier ITT. And in a Sauce toy gaming one afaik
April 13, 2015 | 4:50 p.m.
Out of interest Stephen, how do you filter for early/mid game in a database?
I guess stack depths?
Wt what depth do you feel this becomes less useful?
April 13, 2015 | 12:31 p.m.
Subbed for Santuar and other great minds to come into this thread. :)
Good discussion so far.
I've been playing some HUSNG's lately and ive also been worried about how we it's pretty hard to not make a limp stab strat very profitable without raising/shoving very wide.
April 12, 2015 | 12:47 p.m.
Graftons tank fold very funny. Generally awesome video! Awesome spots just 35mins in, can't wait for more.
April 8, 2015 | 10:22 p.m.
That's a limitation in any stat, in a vacuum. There will still be a rough % that the buggest winners hover around.
As for what that is, i'm not sure for FR
April 3, 2015 | 5:01 p.m.
Haha, yeah I thought the same.

The RIO team really do crush! Impressive roster
Sad to hear Steve, but even if that becomes an eventuality I'd personally still like to see you create some theory videos. That's of course if the powers that be at RIo allow it and you desire.
The content shouldn't change if you play or not, and they've all been excellent and helped me!
