Week 01
BR: $342.18
5/10 hours played, mostly streaming which has been fun (despite having an average viewer count of probably 1). Played a mix of 1 & 2-tabling this week, happy w game for the most part!
Interested to hear thoughts on the new PS cash out feature; it seems an interesting/useful tool for minimizing variance.
HM still seems to have issues accurately tracking cashed-out pots, thus the slight disparity between tracked results & BR.
Onto the next!

Thanks Eldora, making some thought provoking points which I appreciate!
I will say that certainty my justification for this move lies outside of traditional BRM strategy. To elaborate on my last post, I ultimately decided to move to NL25 for the following reasons:
a). The serious lack of motivation I experienced recently in playing lower, which I mostly derive from the low volume I can play right now (no real chance of moving up soon with any sort of reasonable BRM).
b). Confidence in my ability to 'beat' 25/have a true WR that is profitable post-rake.
c). That this move will not put me in any sort of financial jeopardy if I busto my roll (fully recognize how real this possibility is)!

I have played very little volume over the last month (since my first update), due to being super busy outside of poker. Noticed playing some lower stakes (NL5/10) that my motivation really dropped off, so decided to inject the BR and return to NL25 (super aggressive BRM, using a $250 starting BR).
This obviously means that my original goals for (the remainder of) 2019 have changed, and for right now I have decided to focus on the short term, with Weekly Goals:
- 10+ hours of play
- 5+ hours of study
Looking to finally get this thread of the ground, with intentions to update weekly with results/HHs etc!

I like and agree with your analyses - you make a great point about a large part of villain's range being compiled of off-suit combos given we are playing a non-3B pot. Thanks for the comment!

Week 01
Week 01 obviously only consisting of today. Got in around 2.5 hours of play, mixing games a little (some NL5z mixed in as a warm-up). Feeling a little rusty, but mostly happy with how today went.
Interesting hand of the day/week I guess here. Doing a lot of check-raising BvB, ez double, and decided to utilize the blocker bet OTR, planning to BF. Very conscious that we don't hold the 7h here unblocking some pair + FD combo's, with this card in hand I likely look to get stacks in OTR. Any thoughts?
Onto the next one!

What's good RIO!
Decided to start a journal as means of tracking my progress/maintaining accountability.
A Little About Me
21 y/o university student (UK), currently entering my 2nd year.
I recently started a blog, where you can read a little more about me/my progress here.
I also sometimes stream here.
Not exactly sure what direction this journal will head, but I will look to update at certain intervals, either weekly, or monthly...
Let's get it!
Week 02
STAKES
GRAPH
9/10 hours played. Happy w improved volume, unhappy w quality of play this week.
Decided to drop back on tables (was playing up to 4 (reg) tables this week) and really focus on each spot. WR is the most important thing for me rn, and dropping tables (1-2) in order to secure a higher WR seems to make sense given it will minimize chances of going broke - also, will help to avoid mistake-tilt which I am prone to!
*will probably seek to continue experimenting with reg tables
Let's make some better decisions this week!
