Ok, I'll take a different approach to it. I think I'll start over and go over my notes and post here every time a question comes up if that's cool. Thanks guys!

Well, I think there are a lot of concepts that are taken for granted that one should understand. Like the topic of ranges for instance; how to protect your range, capping your range, how to estimate where your opponent is in terms of ranges etc. And this is just one out of many topics that I find are difficult to wrap my head around without any prior knowledge. I understand the basic concept, but how to actually practice it and using it feels a bit overwhelming to be honest. It might also be that the course is so packed with information that it's easy to move too fast and drown :D
I still suspect that I would benefit greatly reading something more basic to start off with.

Hey guys!
I joined RIO to learn more about playing cash games and bought the From the Ground Up course. I'm about halfway through it at this point and have resigned to the fact that it's too complicated for me at this point in my studies. I'm not a complete beginner but lack a lot of the basic knowledge. I'm currently working on poker math on a basic level and finding that very helpful. But I lack in a lot of other areas and feel like I don't have a strong foundation to stand on. So, as an aspiring micro online cash game player, where should I start?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for all the replies and advice guys. It does make it a whole lot easier to discuss these things like this. I'm sure I'll get back to you all with a mother load of questions but I think I have enough to work with for now :)
