I ended up calling but I've got good reasons to believe this may be a fold despite being high in my range. Thoughts?

Cheers man i agree betting turn is better i just kinda check sometimes when i'm not comfortable with hypotethical situations that could occur because of betting like getting raised or having to make a decision on a river, agree turn shud be a bet for value
April 22, 2013 | 2:29 p.m.
Man this indeed sucks as there is only one reasonable hand that beats you but it's so hard imagining worse do it as well.. I think if you can find reasons to not limitate his range to 33 >90% of the time this would be a not fold spot
if he does have 33 he knos he's got the virutal nuts but he also knows that his hand is gonna be very vulnerable in a 3way pot OOP and without the initiative, so much to protect against here and already a bunch of action/money in the pot i think it's fair to say that he'd find a 3rd bet on the flop with 33 often for the same reasons he'd do it on the turn he doesn't have to worry about getting it in as he has the nuts, his range for calling still has some draws/top pair but mainly draws and i think altho it's unlikely; that it could make some sort of sense to semi-bluff as you're just punishing a mindonkbet you don't really have to be super strong even tho u have top 2 this is a play u shud make with KJ too and that u could potentially do with a draw or even as a bluff with some sort of equity and i think there are reasons to believe he could get away with a 3bet here
all in all with all the money out there and u still have boat outs if he has 33 i'd just get it in since the fish has shown interest and is likely not folding try to get the most of your equity here on the turn. btw 32hh is a possible combo and i'd end by saying u gotta abuse the limpers as much as u can in position and JTs is certainly a good enough hand to raise pre here

I think I agree with barreling the turn to get rid of his TT-QQ hands but I'm not quite sure it will work as often as i'd like due to the low sample i don't have many postflop stats and if i get called on the turn i'm commited to putting the 3rd barrel out there and i'm not sure i'm willing to run a 3street bluff here when i'm not exactly sure of opponent tendencies
April 4, 2013 | 2:02 p.m.
Interesting, for what is worth it's 50NL Zoom and i know the vilain has been fairly tight over a SMALL sample however 16/11 indicates his style probably isn't very close to optimal and i wouldn't wanna standarize his coldcalling range only to the sensible hands thare are like TT+ AK it's only 8bb and from my experience at these stakes you can never rule out a bunch of stupid stuff unless you've got stats in a large sample that indicate so (like a 20/19 over 1000 hands).
River is def interesting and a lot of you makes a good point that the strongest part in his cold calling range all have me beat but except the odd KK those are all one pair hands and my doubt comes from the fact that he shoves 2x pot and i expect vilain to be very polarized and show up with one pair hands at all mainly from an experience/common sense point of view and that influences my decision a lot

The AT hand where you called the rier overbet shove because you tought his line doesn't make much sense, how low are you willing to go with your calling range?

What bluffs exactly do you want to have on the turn here? Because i can't see many plausible, i'd just call the turn for sure
