Why does picking a larger 3bet size decrease the EV of his 4bets? I would have thought that it would increase his EV as there is more money in the pot to be won? (Referring to the 56s 3bet @ around 10 mins)

Big fan of your pio heavy videos as they are very noob friendly, which is great for me (a massive pio noob). Is an area I have put off working on for a couple of years now, so watching these vids is a great way of easing me into my own independent studying, whilst also gaining from your insights...
Keep up the good work and is evident to see that your game has come on heaps through this kind of studying ✌

Awesome video Tyler! I really enjoy how clearly you explain your thought process. The level of thought and precision that your hands are played at are insane to me. It gives me an insight into how players of your caliber approach the game and provides me a benchmark to at least try and attain. Anyways just wanted to say please continue to make videos like this as they are gold :-)

Thanks for your reply Samu :-). I encountered this same spot recently and check folded, which made me feel pretty dirty at the time lol. Thinking about it, cbetting our whole range for around half pot feels like the best play (as like you said- they'll have a lot of give ups on this dry of a board, given their wide calling range pre flop). I guess against villains who are never folding, check folding would be fine though.

How best is it to approach these spots with for example Ac2h having raised the sb and been flatted by the bb on a Qh3s6c flop?
My thoughts are that:
-check folding feels too weak, against opponents who defend any reasonable kind of frequency that is and who don't play completely straightforward post flop.
-check calling seems ok, but we are somewhat turning our hand face up and can therefore be barrelled off on turn/ river and is hard to balance this range with enough strong hands other than perhaps QQ?
-cbetting seems ok also, but we are then likely going to be check folding turns often?

Hi Era7er, really enjoying this video series thus far! But am not sure I understand your reasoning 27 mins in- where you justify calling a turn bet with an open ender and Jhigh, under the assumption that you stack villain if you hit, but that you also have fold equity should you miss and bluff shove? As surely it isn't possible for villain to both be calling and folding with high frequencies?
