Totally agree.. Many former MTsng-turned-MTT-players that are lacking postflop skills would benfit so much if they could soak up just a little bit of the postflop mindset that deepstack PLO players provide in their vids

Think that a strong player with a clear edge over the field should consider a fold, even tho its gonna be hard to look oneself in the mirror during the next break. He's saying he's playing for stacks, and many would be suprised how often ppl play AA and KK this way, or in other weird ways. Sure he can have JJ and AK, but on .fr u'll find a better spot shortly more often than not. But it's easier said than done to be so diciplined.

Think ur flat pre is good from the info we got. U keep in hands u dominate and u'll get a nice chunk of chips whenever u hit toppair vs anything against the weaker player.3bet/c and 3bet/f seems pretty bad to me. I like to play smallball in these kind of mtt's too, with a weak field, theres no reason to build the pots pre AA or KK.(ofc AK or JJ+ here is good enough). Ur turncall is questionable but okey imo. Just one of those hands where flatting pre makes u look bad and highlights the reasons against flatting oop. But whenever u hit smth and the weak player has smth ur gonna feel alot better, most of the time anyways.

Think preparation is very underestimated. Aside from obvious stuff like not getting really wasted, having a strict routine that day and getting enough sleep. Prepare food, snacks, uppers, whatever one likes to stuff ones mouth with should be done by saturday bedtime. Make sure everything uve promised to do by the end of the week is dealt with. I've been maxing 15 tbls lately, which is low, and like to get it to 12. But wanna compensate for some missed action during the peak hours so I just keep regging til the 3.30am CET 55$ on ps. Have been some 15hour sessions, even up to 18 once, but i get a decent number of mtts in whilst not playing too many tbls, and its just one day a week and its the most fun day so might as well make the most of it!

Like the title says, whats a possible ROI in MTTS these days? It is abit of a hypothetical question because its not possible to get enough volume in, considering the games's rapid evolvment, but would be fun to hear some suggestions.

Post | Blue_Eyes posted in Chatter: Cashout time from Cake.
Been reading some roumors here and there, and dont like what ive read.
The cashout time from cake has gone from 1 week( im a euro using mb) til having my latest cashout pending for 5 weeks and ongoing.
Know the situation is similar for a few other players,
Anyone with solid intel? hell, some reasonable speculation is fine too.

Great post Sirocko. Been struggling with this since forever, Playing 12 different sites aint the way to go, for me at least. Think that 4 more tables at PS is easier than 1 each on like og and micro.
One thing i can recommend(alltho i shouldnt i guess) is to reg later hours. The nightly 162 on sundays is outrageous. The 215$ "highroller" that use to be 25k gtd, now 12k, on revolution is even worse. Like playing in 2005.
Anyways, would be interesting to hear how many sites ppl are playing, number of tbls etc.

Another thing, to any RIO pro/staff, Is there any policy against members offering coaching, look for backing, swapping, buying, selling shares etc?

between 850 and 950 is std. if u think u can get him to do something stupid, bet like 444 or smth.. checking is not terrible either.

Depends on what he thinks of you, but I'd say if you are someone who 3bets somewhat often, and he knows that, u should have a pretty decent amount of fold equity here. He plays back a ton on regs. So a shove is def +EV and i think its too much +EV to pass on, even this early.
Flatting is ofc a valid option, but ud have to be ready to do some uncomfortable 3 streets calling quite often, or make some semi-hero folds. but its still a nice spot, being ip.

Guess its individual, like most things. But I found that, with the student being at least somewhat talented, theres more situations such as "student: I think im gonna take this line. Coach: how about this, considering x and x and x. = student having an eyeopener, a new way of thinking" Those are based on gameflow and what you feel in the moment. Gameflow and in-the-moment-gut-instincts are after all the explanation of both good and bad plays very often. Ghosting could be considered unethical i guess, but as long as the purpose isn't im not gonna lose any sleep over it.

Never been coached but done some coaching, and id recommend the coach ghosting the student.
To give advice, reasoning in the moment, ive found students to be alot more receptable.
I just think they've learned alot faster.

Hey guys, first post here. Assuming the field are equally weak/strong, a 2k field mtt is definitly gonna give you a higher roi, but the cost of it is higher variance and, (imo an important factor if u have a limit of number of tables you wanna play) average time per mtt. Long term its breakeven. So again, assuming the fields are equally strong, u should play the smaller ones. But since (obv) the bigger fields in reality are weaker they're more profitable.
It comes down to the always returning question. Cutting variance for some value or not?
