First off thanks for the feedback I've been getting, I know I've been posting quite regularly lately so I hope I'm not abusing the forum. Please let me know if I am. Anyway, what do we think about this bluff...

Obviously I got the win here but was the line right throughout?
I think my raise pre was fine.
I'm range betting about 33% on flop.
Turn I barrel again as the heart comes.
River I think my A is a good blocker on this board to go ahead with the third barrel
Any comments much appreciated.

Do you mean studying focus into mental game or playing deep?

What is our decision here?
I have V on high pocket pairs or Ax missed flushes and some K missed flushes such as KQ, KJ

At 5nl with no info I think it's definitely best to call here because:
1) I agree V is not 3betting enough at this level and so is going to have a stronger 3bet range than your zenith preflop sims assumes. I'm not saying it's all value, but much more towards that (with no info to the contrary);
2) I think that at this level and with the above reasoning you're basically turning your TT into a bluff in this spot; so
3) Why bluff when we can outplay V postflop (or flop a monster which is always helpful!).
If anyone disagrees I'd love to see the other side of this coin!

Any thoughts on this hand? Correct river decision?
The only thing that I see as an error is not betting bigger on the turn when the second D came.

Thanks man. I am rolled for more, I just deposited the initial $100 to get things going. I can consider myself much deeper for 10nl as reloading wouldn't be a problem financially. Similarly, as I'm comfortable playing and improving at 10nl I don't want to waste time starting at lower stakes.

I'm very quickly realising that river spots like this at 10nl have to be folds.

Hi
I've played poker semi-seriously for a few years, over various stakes right 2nl to 100nl. Results are mixed and I never really tracked them but overall I'd say break even to very small win.
The last few weeks I decided I'd deposit $100 and try to grind up to being rolled for 100nl. I bought From the Ground Up and also working my through the Grinders Manual, so I guess following Pete Clarke's guidance. I've been 4 tabling 10nl on partypoker.
It started great and within a few sessions I was up 15BIs. However the wheels have come off and I'm now just 1.5BIs up. I'm not big headed or naive enough to say I'm just running bad. Two big leaks I think I have calling down too much and more generally mental issues with tilt, which compounds errors like the former.
Needless to say the 14BI downswing has knocked my confidence. I'm determined to improve and grind back up. I've no poker "friends" or "community" so it would be great to make some connections to sound things out with and help each other out.
Looking forward to some positive responses.
Thanks
Can you expand on why we should be checking the turn very often?
