I had put only 3/6 AK combos with Ac In his range in OP
May 27, 2015 | 7:52 p.m.
I saw your simulation, but you've changed the original range, you've added all AK combos in his calling range and you took away AA.
May 27, 2015 | 2:59 p.m.
When we check 10/23 we lose though. Then the EV when we check is:(12/23)(125.25) - (10/23)(125.25) =+10.89bb
However when we bet the EV is 49.65. So bet>check. Is it right?
May 26, 2015 | 2 p.m.
I don't like small vbet otr because he knows that I wouldn't raise set ott and then he could turn some hands into bluff.
May 24, 2015 | 11:21 p.m.
What about flushes? If you put in his range 56s you have to add also 67s, 7h8h,8h9h. Besides we are 150x deep and it isn't sure that he calls with all AK combos, KQ Imho it's always a fold, idk KJ.
Imho 150x it isn't a so easy vbet there.

maybe you mean 105/400=26%. But I didn't explain myself well, I meant if villain 3barrel GTO I need to defend just 26% is it right?
May 18, 2015 | 9:10 a.m.
OK but for GTO assuming that I arrive otr with 53 combos how many of them should I call?
May 17, 2015 | 8:15 p.m.
I agree with you, I don't usually cbet too often that board. The issue is if he bets river 100% whenever he bets turn then it isn't a good idea to call ott and then fold when we hit A or K otr. Therefore the question is: what is the best move when villain dbet ott?
May 17, 2015 | 8:03 p.m.
I prefer not to increase the pot too much when I am IP also because sometimes I would have the opportunity to call the 4bet, furthermore I don't think his calling range changes too much vs a size of ~8 or 9BB. In my field is pretty std. Which is your std size IP?

No if you have a sensible player image, first because on a paired river imho I think he does not expect that you bluff so often , and second because you might still have a certain number of Qx combos (AQ,QTs,JQs if you 3bet them), TT,JJ which you can play in that way.
May 3, 2015 | 9:51 a.m.
Probably it is best cbet OTF but I think sometimes we could also xb, surely it is not EV-.
Turn we could xb again, but river I would definitely bet, we get him to fold AT AJ and PP and we rep again more value combos .

UTG raises to 3 BB, CO raises to 9 BB, fold, SB calls 8.5 BB, Hero ?
MP and CO are regs, SB is a fish.
MP opens 17% in that position, CO 3bet vs MP 5.2%. SB is a 72/7.
What should hero do there? fold, call or cold 4bet (in that case, what size?) ?

OTR it is a cooler, but I'd like to know your thoughts about preflop call and more generally how you would build a defending range vs a 20% of RFI and how that range changes to vary from open raise size

In my db he cold4betted these hands: 88-TT, AKo, AJo.
OTR I did not block anything but I thought he would have wanted to fold many of his value hands like set and OP. I do not see many flushes on the river becouse I guess he would have cbetted OTF.
Do you think this was a bad play ?
Just as I feared. Unfortunately I'm making a lot of mistakes lately. Ty guys
