I would fold this preflop, doesn't flop often well and when it does you will probably just take the pot with a continuation bet so there are not really any implied odds against most peoples starting hands.

I think you biggest problem here is that you built a big pot from out of position. You obviously have to call the river with the pot odds just in case he turned a busted flush into a bluff.

I would of just check/call the turn and then check/fold the river. Unfortunately there are so many scare cards that could hit the river, however he has to worry that you were on the draw also so often I would feel he will bet if he has you beat or check behind if he has not.

What stats do you have on him? If he seems like a normalish player he almost always has the nuts here.

If he is maniac style player he could be turning his flush draw into a bluff. I actually called down a similar situation earlier today and this is exactly what happened, I only called because he was quite wild. If he seems super loose and aggressive I would call it and hope, otherwise I think it is a fold against most players.
