I hoped there would be more replies.

His 3 bet was about 50%, so we might be ahead of his range and given his size ott call looks more preferable + we are IP and there are lots of rivers that might scare him as well.

 Hey guys,

Would like to hear your thoughts about this Turn spot.

Villain shows a lot of aggression, stealing pots when I show weakness/ using initiative. Not much hands, but in 3bpot spot before, he 2nd brl  almost pot KQ4r 7r, so I am not sure what to make of his sizing OTT in this hand.

I worked on ranges in PJ a bit, giving him weak 2prs, double FDs, AQ+ and got a +EV shove, but I am not sure how wide he might bet/fold and bet/call.

Intuitively, with this sizing I feel like he's trying to steal the pot for cheap/ protecting some vulnerable no nut hands that are folding to raise.

PS. Sorry, tried to post hh right here, but it didn't convert.

Do you think its possible that villain bets turn to test you on KK-AA type of hand (thinking you would fold lower ones) and after you calling turn he would just give up otr?

Do you consider calling turn and decide otr when the picture would be more clear?

Do you have any info about his sizing?  This might be an important detail as it's different in 2 turn spots.

In general, he seams to be the type who is not picky about outcoming cards, he just likes to put preasure. So I disagree with  "..and overall aggression into this spot ??? ( which is a spot most villians shut down his bluffs often IMO) .."

What was the dynamic when this hand occurred? Who won last pots ?

So if you don't have a read on his value betting/bluff sizing, timing tell, I would call this turn.

There will be 364 otr leaving him ~250 left... you need to be right about 29% calling his AI. How do you feel about this situation vs this opp?

Hey guys!
Opp is pretty aggro for 40 hands: barreled hard in SRP; 3b 21 and betting it most of the time. (mb just running hot).
When facing a turn pot bet, I see that 99 really hurts our equity to catch 2nd pair and even if we catch our 9 it closes lots of his possible draw holdings.
So how would u play it?

ps. I did some math work and analyzes, but running through a losing streak, so would like to hear ur thoughts first.

I like ur thoughts about flop and turn.

River very depends on ur history and opponent tendencies (have u 3barreled him with air/nuts before?/ Have u seen him herocalling before?/what kind of dynamic u wanna follow after this river decision? ... I just feel that checking behind is the best play here:
- Wont get enough folds...even knowing that ur villain is on the tighter side doesnt mean he wont resist the temptation of calling u down with 2pr, which I think he has alot here. (I mean his perceived range consists of hands like 456x - u most likely beat - and 9xxx).
- For info sake: see what hands he is capable of leading;
- Lower variance.
....

But would you guys consider betting this flop when checked to in case of having nothing? I mean, b/f. Or it's not a good idea on wet board like this ?
I feel that a pretty big part of his range still calls at least 1 time.

Hello,
Villain is a recreational player, 3bets 25%, cbets 67% of flops, check/raises 22%. otf. He is able for 3 barreling with air; also saw him check folding in 3bet pots once or twice.
Do you like pot controlling this flop with my top and btm two pairs? I felt uncomfortable of betting it and get raised (but I guess that is the reason he checked to me/ or for a disguise play) so I chose to play it with less variance and
see the turn card.

Thanks.
