Hey Sam, thanks for vids. Got a question for you -) At 36.30 AJof hand. Seems like standart get it in spot, question is only sizing. There few reasons and few different sizing could be applyed, or you just can pick one that you use all the time which can be considered optimal. So my assumptions before pick a size of 3b:

1) You want him to fold or shove. So just give him two options. Yes when he calls you mainly comitted, but sometimes boards run like 765 monotone with you not having flush draw, or few other bad boards (not much tho), which you just have to fold.

2) You still would like to make impression of some fold equity, to give him little chance to bluff (because i feel in some spots, there thin part  you can have bluffing range). So making full 3x just don't give villian any impression of you folding.

3) Also villian, how would your sizing would be different vs a reg, where perceived fold equity is very important

So therefore you have to solve this things and what would be your optimal sizing with value hand. And do you make same sizing with top of you range, not middle/middle strong that you just wanna get it in?

Well, I don't wanna hurt any MTT coach, but Sam theory videos are best. Yes, the are complicated, you have to watch them with way more attention, than just HH review. But this videos, with his explanation, give a lot of work to your brain. I would like you Sam to do more this theory stuff, which is completely sharpens my skills. I mean I def sure you can do good HH review, same/better/worse than other guys here, but so far nobody from MTT coach tried to make deep theory analyze, with such strong math background that u do.

44:30 What is your continuing range on turn? And what hands you 3bet flop to get it in? Also if you fold KQ there, am I assuming correctly you do fold aq, kk, aa also vs that villain? And do you have any slow plays besides j10hh, kqhh on flop? Thanks in advance.

I like series Paul. I guess you can stick to 40-45 minutes total video time, like you normally do.

BN: 50398

UTG: 91268
It's about 50 players left. Villian just moved to a table 5 hands ago. Has reggy stats over 260 hands 19/17 with 10% 3bet. From BB 3bet 16% (19hands) and call from BB 0% (15hands)
Preflop (3750) (9 Players)
Hero was dealt J J
UTG folds, UTG1 folds, UTG2 folds, Hero raises to 5000, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, SB folds, BB raises to 13750, Hero calls 8750
I guess it's fine to 4bet call here, but with no dynamic and having good stacks I decided to proceed cautios. How would you play pre?
Flop (31250) 3 3 8 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets 12999, BB calls 12999
Bet is standart here I think.
Turn (57248) 3 3 8 T (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks
It's where things got interested. Do you bet call here?
River (57248) 3 3 8 T 8 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets 28999, BB raises to 76380, and is all in, Hero calls 47381
As played I definatelly value betting river, but was he jams Im kinda confused.
Final Pot
BB has J A Hero has J J Hero wins 209758
Any thought on all streets appreciated.

This is pretty great series you made Paul. Reaallly like it.
Not sure why you thinking about calling w/ A10of on 28 min, I think it's pretty cleat ICM fold.

So what is best way to get most value from coaching one on one. Which one you prefer and thinks is best: HH review of whole tourney, just going through special hands, watching coach playing, making a video and that listening to critics and etc.? Which one goes best for you guys?

March 10, 2013 | 6:35 p.m.

Thanks for input guys. Totally agree with Ivan and Grayson. My estimations is about if you can get with midstakes from AFS 150-350, to AFS 800-1500 players, with higher % of non regs, ROI might go up for wining players to 20-40% higher.

Post | AntonZ87 posted in MTT: How does AFS affects ROI%?
Hey runitonce -) I'm pretty curious about this thing.
Assume we have same skill level of play, same buy-in. How does it depends on your ROI if you play like 200 field size game or like 1000 size tourney? Or like what is more profitable grind small tourneys with 200-400 players or playing 1k-2k fields.

hey Paul, again nice one -)
on 30.35 do you call with KJs SB jam?

Feb. 2, 2013 | 7:13 a.m.

hey Paul, good vid.
at 34 min you just repped AQs 42bbs vs 3bet. I'm kinda thinking about 4bet calling there. You gotta give him some chance to spew and stacks I think perfect do this. At the same time you playing pretty solid, but I think he saw you making some light 3bets. And I think there is chance that he can shove worse.

Jan. 12, 2013 | 8 a.m.

Espen, good video. Got question on 20:35 you do jam 9.5bb from BTN with J4of, also big blind has lot of chips. To me it extremly loose shove. Really looking at your solid play wouldn't assume you do this play.

Jan. 10, 2013 | 11:20 a.m.

For me it would be interesting how do you rank players for doing something. Like how you can exploit them for doing something, or what kinda read you can take once he does this. Hope you get what I'm trying to say. But as far is 1st video went, I really like it. Your explanations are pretty clear.

Dec. 16, 2012 | 5:24 a.m.

Jason, thanks for nice video. Got few questions, please answer:
1) At 14.50 vs Schap what would be your flatting range on button and what would be your 3b to 5bet gii range?
2) And as you played 67s what do u think about 5bet click it back? Which one u prefer more flat or 5bet-fold?

Dec. 14, 2012 | 9:59 a.m.

Paul, great video. Keep it up.
on 8 min. with KK i still prefer flat with giving stacks behind, and if you choose to 3bet, i think sizing it smaller betweet 15.8-17k gives more feeling of fold equity to original raiser and blinds.

Dec. 13, 2012 | 7:33 a.m.

the KQs hand starts at 19 minutes

Dec. 12, 2012 | 10:22 p.m.

on 30min of video in 3bet pot with AK, what do you think about check shoving turn?

Dec. 11, 2012 | 11:07 a.m.

I think with KQs blind vs blind hand I don't really like to shove. You describe player that likes to peel and call a lot, so I assume he would have hard time folding even one pair just A8A9A4 (also look at his chips, he has bunch of them!, it makes slightly easy him to call that, u not putting his life on a line), so basically u wanna fold all his 7x 6x and like J9J8 hands. I think u can do it with 50-60k bet and still have about 100k which you can work with if u were wrong.

Dec. 11, 2012 | 10:58 a.m.

Overall I like your video Jono. I think you explain your thinking process pretty well and in nice manner to understand it. But I still not really agree with you with 3betting OOP about 1,9 - 2,2x that u did with 40bbs +. Still would prefer at 2,5-2,8x OOP. May be you do your sizing because you very confident postflop, that makes sense for me, otherwise I'm not really sure with sizing been that deep.

Post | AntonZ87 posted in Chatter: Type of videos for MTT
Guys i think it`s pretty standart to make just HHs review of a pro or member. It has lot of good stuff, especially with pros you have on site. I'm just thinking if you guys make vids on like one topic, for example "3bet to 5bet" and just pick different hands and describe variety of sutations on exactly one topic, definately covering everything related. So it's like combo of theory and practice with examples.
It might be harder to do, because u gotta search for hands and spend more time.
