Hi,
Does anyone have tips on what global frequencies we should look into when analyzing sessions? What is the most beneficial? I play on a site where post-session you can see everyones hole cards, which is a massive bonus when studying.
As well, looking at session graphs are there any filters people like to apply to the graph to get a better feel at how you are playing/doing etc?
Thanks

I am using via the Google Play Store. Have done all of these and app just crashes most of the time, fails to download, or freezes. It looks like everyone else in the review section of the app experience the exact same thing. The app needs an overhaul.

Hi,
I recently after a few years tried to use the mobile app and it either shuts down, doesn't login or play the videos I've added to Manage Videos. I recall this happening and am displeased this has been unresolved for so many years. When can we expect a fix?

Could you elaborate on the main adjustments we should make on ignition? More button steals, more barreling flush nut blockers, etc. Thanks

Hey Seth,
I am leaving for my first series in vegas in late June. Besides the WSOP/rio, where do you find the best cash game and tournaments to be going on?
As well, outside of LV are there any places you find relaxing, such as hikes and things to do?
Thanks & hope to see you out there!

@2:50 - You say you like raising 78s bc of ICM pressure, missing stack, etc. But aren't we not stealing enough when the big blind is 80 bb deep? I would like this if he was SB, etc.
@7:50 - < 20 bb deep eff I think KQo plays better as a jam or fold, not a flat.
@14:30 - You decide to jam to the 3x CO open with QQ when the BB is all in with <1 BB. Because of the CO sizing to 3x, i tend to think they are never calling jams here. Do we just jam because of that dead money or can we implore a small 3b or flat range here?

Does piosolver address in the A7s hand stack depth? Seeing as we are shallow, shouldn't we decrease our calls as we won't realize our equity (see rivers as much)?

Right at the beginning, what is the reasoning behind flatting AQ to a 2x 3-bet off a 15 BB eff-stack?

Hi all,
I recently made the switch over to become a full-time poker player after a few years as a software engineer for a company in the Washington D.C. area. I play 2/5& 5/10 NLHE Cash, and up to 2/5 PLO at my local casinos but you will regularly catch me streaming @ twitch.tv/adamhendrix MTTs on ACR & Ignition.
I am originally from alaska, and currently my main goal is to reach the #1 spot on top of the Alaskan hendon mob charts, achieve a wsop bracelet & a score of 100k. Will post updates frequently :D.

Hi all, I am going to Las Vegas this summer to play a months worth of tournaments, including the main. I play NLHE, PLO, O8 primarily and was looking to get some advice for my first Vegas summer.
1) What WSOP tournaments have the most +EV fields? Which tournaments should I stay away from? (I am playing mainly the 1k's which exception of the main)
2) When playing the main, which Day 1 seems to be the softest?
3) Where can I find the best cash games? 2-5/5-10
4) Outside of the WSOP, where can I find some good tournaments and which ones?
Any other advice that you have would be really appreciated!

Hey,
I was wondering if the shirts (80$ polo's I believe) you had available during the WSOP this summer would ever come to the store? I was going to buy one when I was there, but ended up forgetting.
Thanks.

Ya ALL players refunded..even though I was still in with 650/1950 remaining. So frustrating because they should of shut it down an hour in when they paused the tournament for an hour.
So ridiculous. Waste of a sunday when all I did was play that one tournament.

Hi all, I haven't posted in a while but here is a hand history that I thought was interesting from last sunday's tournament.
VIllains:
BTN - Very passive fish, he has limped constantly and I have been raising him in position. He is very fit or fold postflop and only raises strong hands. (22641 chips)
SB - New player at table no read (4761 chips)
HERO - Solid, aggressive but hasn't been out of line yet besides punishing the BTN player.
Hand:
Blinds @ 100/200 no ante
BTN limps, SB completes, BB checks w/ 7h9s (600)
Flop is As5s6h, SB checks, BB leads 335, BTN folds, SB calls (1270)
* I lead here because I think BTN is unlikely to have an Ace in this situation, as his range is near 100% of hands he is limping preflop.
* Most likely caller is SB and I think in position against an unknown we can put a ton of pressure on villain
Turn Jc, SB checks, BB bets 788, SB calls (2846)
* I decided to bet turn and on the larger size to push all 5s and 6s out of the way, and some weaker flush draws that might fold getting 2.5:1 with ace on board pair outs are unlikely.
River Kh SB Checks BB all in for effectively 3538 into 2846
* Since he is unknown I don't think he can can call with any one pair A hands here. This is bovada and no prior history is known except for in tournament.
* I was contemplating my bet sizing here. Do you think a bigger bet like 2/3 pot works better than the overshove? ie: what looks more like value?
Feedback on the play would be appreciated.

I never thought of it that way, very interesting points. I definitely don't like the way the games play out..but on Bovada I think it is much more profitable for now. I think Zone was introduced only in the fall of this year on Bovada, so therefore the player pool hasn't adjusted enough (as most of the player pool is american based and never played on stars or ftp (zoom)).
It doesn't seem like sites will slow this format down especially if it is profitable to them. It definitely looks dim when you think of it in that way.

Ya, I think all of what everyone has said makes sense. I find going from 50 NL to 100 NL the 3 bet frequency in the blinds goes up a lot, but is difficult to tell. I find nearly cbetting 100% works well, and have a looser opening ranger and pretty tight call range.
Glad everyone is helpful, thought this would be interesting because you hardly ever play poker where you have no clue on who your opponent is.
So I think everyone can agree 4 betting light is almost never the right play at these stakes with no dynamic?
Also, 3 betting out of the small blind and bb to a btn or sb open is probably very profitable?
July 29, 2014 | 4:56 p.m.
Not exactly, just wondering how standard ranges should be adjusted..and if we should be 3betting a lot more since its anonymous and no history or playing tighter..etc. Obviously not the exact formula but instead comments that are helpful to this particular game.
July 27, 2014 | 2:37 a.m.
Hi, if anyone has played on Bovada they are aware of their Zone Poker tables. Which are exactly like Zoom poker on pokerstars but everyone is anonymous. I am trying to find an optimal strategy to playing these types of games and figure it is probably a bit different since the player pool is anonymous. So far they run 25 NL, 50 NL and 100 NL on it, all being 6 max.
So my question is what does everyone think the most optimal strategy for this game is? What should my opening ranges be? And any other input.
Thank you.

True but do we need to worry about balancing our range here? I don't think we will ever be 4b bluffing here, as well when playing against a short stack in these types of games we can probably assume that he is a weaker player and trying to balance wont matter. (I think he is weaker bc of his stack size and 3b size)
Hi, great breakdown. When you see in 3bp facing a bigger size we find more raises than vs a small range bet, isn't this counterintuitive to SRP where we find more raises facing smaller sizes? Why is this?
