Do you play any 5card? would love a theory video on 5card. . .

If i was last to act i always bet this, if i was utg with people behind me i always check if that makes sense. You block kk qq, i think the odds of getting check raised here are very slim. I think betting with our equity is better then checking and letting them realize equity for free. . . .

Flop seems like a standard bet, unblocking aces gives them more calling hands, i would like a check with ajj more. Turn i would check because we have a really nice bluff catcher and its hard to get called by worse.

This hand wins 0% of tine when we check, we need some bluffs, this hand is a perfect bluff. Flop we have to call with bdnfd and nut gutsjot and two overs with a blocker vs a half pot bet. This hand is too strong to fold because of our equity, run equity calls vs AA here

Hey, I have been doing the same, my generally conclusion to be a decent amount tighter pre. think in generally lower sets, mid-high flushed, and top 2 in general go way down in value in 5 card. So i generally play tighter from all positions.

I flat more bad-medium aces pre to 3 bets. I personally like to play more passive in general pre because I think most of my opponents mistake are post flop, and i like to keep spr as high as possible.
My only 2 cents are tighter and passive pre 3/4 bet pots.

I just think when we lead the flop and get called, and when we check the turn and he bets--he has a very strong range. I dont think people are balanced here in general and would fold a lot of weak hands on the flop--especially in 5 card....

Pre flop i have no clue 5 card.
Flop I like a lead but for 50% vs your 33% and not sure if we should size up more because of 5 card more equity in general. I also think check raising is not bad either.
Turn: i think its a mandatory check, i would check full range here, and check call. I dont think he has many bluffs here, and is heavily weighted towards aa, so i would not bluff trying to get someone to fold second nuts.

Bet turn, river raise does not rep much because we checked back turn, and he might think he is inducing with the small bet.

Yes clear jam, also when 3 betting go to less then pot to keep preflop action open.

Flop seems like a good check because we have two backdoor FD, a lot of turns hit us which should not, and we are not in tough spots on turns when villain calls.

A question I have for you is--how would these heuristics change if we are playing deeper?

I think a future video that could be interesting building on this theory video, would be 3bet pots where either it goes check call turn leads.
