i fold pre, to play oop vs a agg postflop reg seems "not much fun" most of the time ;)
on the flop i'd c/shove if he cbets often (which i assume when hes very agg post)
as played on the turn c/shove
Sept. 19, 2014 | 1:50 p.m.
i would cbet but i would fold to the raise and reraise. vs co i think its a call, but vs both its a fold to me (early on a ft). especially when you describe bb as tight.
Sept. 19, 2014 | 1:38 p.m.
min raise pre, fold on the flop. vs 1 you can consider a call, but vs 2 you are hardly ever ahead
if its a very active table and you don't feel too confident postflop, i think a openshove would make it easy. but its definetly not optimal openshoving 30bb , you lose value cause you make it easy for the smaller stacks to get away from worse hands that they would get in vs your minopen like smaller pairs or aj,kq,...
qq can be a fold when you get shoved on, but i would not take it as a standard,
its situation dependant. on this ft i would say if you open, btn 3b and bb shove
its clearly a fold.
or if the co would have a bigger stack and tight
stats and 3bshoves on you.
Sept. 18, 2014 | 11:38 p.m.
most of the time i would not open here with the 2 reshovestacks behind, except they have low 3b stats ...
but as played its a call, for the same resons raph mentioned
Sept. 18, 2014 | 10:50 p.m.
as raph said: easy shove pre, as played shove flop
Sept. 13, 2014 | 5:13 p.m.
yap pre is fine, if villain has a high flopcbet% i would call and take a stab on the turn if it gets checked to me.

i switched years ago from cash to tourneys because i think its more rewarding, playin onlinecashgame you never get a real reward, you just grind for the bb/100 hands, but by playing mtts you get those wins, and winning a tourney, no matter for how much cash, is just awesome :)
but beaware: grinding mtts can be brutal
about br:
i'd say with a 1k roll you can safely play freezouts up to 5$, 2$ +3$ rebuys and take shots once in a while (for example sundays) up to 20$
smaller field tourneys, like on stars the 180man or 90man up to 11$

i would raise the flop for value and protection cause there are so many bad cards that could hit and to get chips from his draws.
but i guess it wouldnt change much of the outcome, cause he wouldnt fold his eights anyway
just ul

why dont you make a monthly limit for donwloads
lets say for example elite members: 25 downloads/month
essential members: 10/month
so you avoid the suckers who sign up for only 1 month and download all the videos and never come back.
would be nice to watch some RIO vids when i'm travelling
March 30, 2014 | 5:24 a.m.
hi im grinding the low-midstakes for several years and new also member (2months) on this site. you're right jkoon vids are awesome. i also recommend james obst and nick rampone vids.
im not a big fan of skype thats why i also have not many contacts to other grinders. i would love to exchange handhistories and analyse each others game. i've done it before and it always helped both sides. let me know if you're down for that.

n1, i hope you make a full mtt handhistory review vid in the near future
what? ofcourse i open, but i fold to his 3b,
like i said, playing oop a bloated pot with kqo vs a postflopagg reg is far away from easy if we dont flop the nuts
