Thanks for your reply Elías,

Would be interesting to hear a bit more of your thoughts if you don't mind.

If we have a flatting range here with low/mid pockets isn't board coverage on low/mid flops a concern if we fold a hand like 98s?

Or are low suited aces enough to balance?

Hi Elías,

21 mins. 9d8d btn vs co.
1. What's your general calling range here?
2. How do you tweak that range with a fish in the blinds?

Thanks

Hi Iain,
Thanks for another solid video!

6:10 table 1 with AKs.
I think your line is good. But what do you think about checking flop to opponent here (how does the EV compare) given the reasons below:?

Many recreational players will use a bet size which indicates the strenght of their hand (in my experience on 50NL and lower at least). This allows us to get free information from their bet size mistakes by checking (I've seen Ben S do this when he played 50NL). I've also seen the small c-bet line induce some 3bets for protection/information/value from weaker players, which isn't really good for us either when a holding like AKs here.

Since they use bet sizing in that way I think they also tend to assume that other players do the same (small bet means weak hand). For that reason it's clearly good to bet small with strong hands to induce as well.

Thanks for a great video Iain,
7:30: w JTs vs a loose passive player I think you can easily bet the turn for value and get called by draws, runner draws that picked up equity or a pair, weaker pairs, even hands like A3, A4 will call imo. It's obviously fine to check back and look to bet some rivers as well. But getting the value with a 2nd barrel seems like an optimal exploitable play to me vs someone who tends to call too wide. Any thoughts on this?

Great video. I have the same question as JPiva and also want to know what to do with the bad aces on A32 after cr flop in 3b pot and they call or show. Also interested what to do with the mid pocketpairs on 932 board after cr and they show/call. Thanks for an interesting video.
