u lost vs the the q8 lol 32 mins in, the format is interesting, but i think your so deeply involved in 500nl zoom your loosing some commentary on the mtts
Good video. Looking forward to the rest of your session. I also occasionally play cash games and tourney's at the same time, but I wonder if it's really a good idea being that they are so different in format and game flow?
FWIW, I chose to play cash and mtts at the same time, because the primary reason I was grinding was the super tuesday, unfortunately there is not enough mtt volume on Tuesdays so I need to fill tables. Given that the zoom tables move faster than mtts, naturally I will have more spots in them. Although I did not comment on q8o beating me I was def aware of it. I will try to do another video that's focused more on mtts (either recording a sunday session and providing commentary afterwards or recording a final table and providing commentary).
Hey good video. What do you think about competition in tournament like super Tuesday 1k buyin? Because it is in the middle of the week and high buyin i assume there is not many weak players. I dont play much tournaments but i am 1k cash regular. Do you think that average 1k cash reg has edge in super Tuesday? Thanks for your response.
I actually think the super Tuesday is fairly good value because they run satellites to it all week. It also has a slow structure which I believe gives me an edge vs the field. That said it's basically impossible to play if you live in Europe because of time zone problems. As for whether the average 1k cash reg has an edge, I think its close, tournaments are different games, you need to understand, ICM, push fold/reshove ranges, and how antes affect your ranges. In short I would say average 1k cash reg is +ev but probably not as +ev as the better mtt regs.
I like this 4 tables, 2 zoom 2 mtt format recorded and replayed with pauses. I can watch the MTTs and when there is nothing going on or something interesting is being talked about in the cash games I can grab some info from that too.

I think he was just continuing his thoughts about getting value on the turn. I'm sure he realized that he lost to Q8.

Is it bad to show 1010 on the river when he bets ? He will layn J down, maybe K too. It is gonna look wierd and he might put you on 333 ?
I think its bad, my hand could be a call, and I'm repping very thin for value
