Yes it definitely shows a trend of either nitty/tight preflop play in general or that he dislikes the 3b KK-combos and maybe prefers rundowns and ds-hands in his 3b range
On the contrary to the above comment, I found this video extremely useful. The content illustrates the reality of reg fillies zoom plo games in 2019 (or indeed reg fillled online plo generally) where discipline and nittting it up is the order of the day. It also illustrates the importance of game selection.
The regular games aren’t glamorous or exciting but AS does demonstrate what needs to be done to remain profitable.
I don't feel the need to give positive feedback when I feel it is not due. Remember, this is elite $100/mo. content here and as such it needs to be compared to the content put out by the other elite PLO coaches here and other training sites in that price range. This guy loads up a table, records some footage of virtually nothing interesting happening and regurgitates it to us. This is a low low effort video.
I know people are going to think I'm such a troll, but go back and look at my commentary on videos, this is extremely atypical for me. I am usually very satisfied and left with deep thoughts after each video. But I feel the need to give honest criticism here.
Thanks, couldn’t have it expressed better myself! That’s the reason why I submitted the video, but I get nittyoldman’s comment as well and won’t do a similar one again.
To give you guys some good news: my next video is going to be shorthanded + HU play on RIOP ! A lot of action and tough spots guaranteed!
I just realized I twisted my words on the last sentence (now removed) that would insinuate I took issue with multiple videos from you, I do not. I only dislike this one. Looking forward to tough spots in the next one.
Alien Slayer I actually also disagree with Nitty here. Don't let one negative comment affect too much of your production choices moving forward, in this type of business never possible to please everyone and that's what's great about RIO, there is always different content. I enjoyed the more " normal" hands and single table thorough approach.
To me this is like watching the ESPN cut and edited version of a poker tournament versus the full live stream showing every hand. Would I want to watch every single hand of every poker tournament I'm interested in seeing the final table of? Absolutely not, 90% of the time the edited version is great, but sometimes I want the change of pace and to see every single (sometimes boring) hand for spots that may not stand out to others but I still find interesting.
That being said I do think Nitty's point about "elite" video's is correct and we need to make sure Elite video's have a little more meat to them, that's why the members are paying extra. Using five minutes on a software bug rant into avatar talk mid session probably shouldn't happen. Have something PLO related ready to discuss during the slow points.
Thallo : thanks for your point of view, I highly appreciate it!
You are completely right about the last paragraph, that is more of a stream-chatter and is not needed in a pure poker content video. Will make sure to focuss on that mather in future videos .
Yea well I guess if niity works, why not.. What is your WR on last 200k+ hands on PLO500 zoom? Looks kind a easy.. Just fold everything except near nuts..
it's around 6bb/100 ... unfortunally it's not that easy, there are enough guys around who really know what they are doing and won't let you get away with a straight forward style.
I'd say it highly depends on the current player pool what games to expect and whether one can expect a +EV session .
This session recorded was due to variance rather slow in action, when playing multiple tables the grind would't feel the same since one gets much more often into bigger pots .
Hi. Im trying to learn more Omaha playing some in my local casino as well as online. So this video was a very good pace for me, 1 table zoom with the replayer. Understanding reg heavy opening/3 betting dynamics. Thanks!
Nice video! I was wondering if you would fold the 4567 ss utg and the 10856ds vs 3bet if you were in much softer playing fields. And how much would you loossen up in general in softer playing fields?
sorry that comment got somehow lost in my feed... I would most likely still fold both hands and rather openraise some hands with more nutted potential like mediocre single suited Ax hands like AQ76ss or weak kings that have the chance to dominate wide ranges of weaker players when they do hit.

4:10 isn't that a noteworthy non-3b from goez123? I mean I know you are utg but his hand is vv-strong

almost nothing happens this video...zzz
I would never leave a shitty comment normally, but its just a video of folding and a couple standard decisions

“Boring” - quite possibly. Valuable - I think so.

constructive feedback is always good, no harm was done by you nitty

I really enjoyed watching just 1 table. Some people dislike it, some people like it.
