Good video! So when you think of someone as a semi-pro... how do you change your gameplay against that particular individual? Do you play against them more aggressive? Try to bluff more scary boards? 4b them lighter?
First hand: Very interesting. I have the same thought process on these types of hands with that line, and board texture. However, I usually lose in those spots. Possibly I am not making the correct reads on the villains? When you hero call those types of spots... what are the most influencing factors that make you call against some people, yet fold against others?
Second hand: Min raise looks pretty scary/strong.. unless he is a good leveler. Usually when people min-raise me I perceive them to be super strong. Any common reads to tell if someone is min-raising strong or weak? Usually I pay attention to their bet sizing on future streets to see if they were strong or not when min-raising. Besides future bet-sizing are there other factors/reads to determine if someone is min-raising super strong or weak.
Fourth Hand: Deepstack... do you raise any suited Ace in any position? So if you have a2s UTG... raise? Once you get to around 20-25bbs do you still raise with small/middle aces mid posistion? Paired board... bet size that small if you have it or complete air?
Great series! Thanks for sharing all the great info. Was very informative and made me re-consider some lines I was taking. Really hoping for a mixed game series :).
