hey great vid first of all! in hand 4 what are you doing with your 2 pair combos on different rivers vs. different villains? I feel like we have to x/f them a lot because villain is almost only going to have Q's (besides maybe a turned fd) and if so don't you think that getting a bet on the river would make more sence because there aren't too much bad rivers if it goes check check under the assumption that most players would bet turned fds.
and what about our 7's? they might be better candidates for turn bets because we are not blocking AT,KT and hands like that?

And in hand 3 I feel very strongly towards just flatting the raise because there are no bad rivers and we always have the beste hand, even if the play doesn't make sence with regards to our range, people (especially the sb, because he is going to think others are playing like him, like you said of yourself) still can think that you have like AA with a fd or even a turned set or what ever. and given our reads on the sb, he might have a set here which we can sometimes stack off on rivers if he really is that passiv which we would make him fold. and we also don't have to worry about the reg recognizing that our range is very strong if we just call because his range is not going to include any strong hands anyways.
basically it comes down to: we don't have to or even we shouldn't be balanced against funplayers!

thank you for your answer and gl at the tables!

Great stuff mate. Hand #1, how important do you think our blockers are in this spot given that villain is a fun player? I think the play is really good vs. a reg but in this spot against someone who doesn't think or care about ranges and likely has a really strong hand, I think it's questionable. He still has 8 combos of AQ,KQ and then isn't the rest of his range basically straights+. I am not sure how often this will work against a fun player in a $500 satty.

Hand #4, That is a really sick bluff, a very, very nice play. I felt like his river range was exactly 99 and T9hh and unlikely any KQ. I think he bets flop with minimum 8 combos of his KQ, KQdd and then KQ bdfd. I think he then raises turn with any KQ he has on the 4 straight double flush draw.
So if you felt his range was just 4 combos of boats, will you still pull the trigger on this? I think it's ambitious but a really great play nonetheless.

Really appreciate the video, you definitely got me thinking.

@bttard
I would check re-evaluate my two pairs on a brick river, fold some call some depending on my read on villain or perception of his sizing, i think i would check most 7s on turn because i cant go for two streets, id throw those w my air or 22-44 hands perhaps n bet river big when turn checks through or chk call turn n reevaluated river, most likely fold.
I dont think not blocking at/kt rly matters if his strategy includes a lot of checking back on a wet flop vs an opponent who will play back pretty agressively (good adjustment imo) then i expect his chk backs to have strongish jacks n mb even qq/kk.
I agree with your thinking on the straight flush hand im working on that part of my game:/

@mickman
I agree its villain dependant here, i think i mention it in video too, id fold vs the guy but not having a read i think it'll be hard to come up w a better bluff candidate, but i agree its a spot where in a vacuum we might be better off not having a bluff range

I'd still shove this hand, not that many hands i play this way Including river that has a ten in it, i have enough value hands to do this given how capped he is, i personally feel its reasonable for him to have kq in his turn call range to raise brick rivers/bluff w missed fdraws

Thx guys, point of this video was to get ppl thinking bout blocker effects on rivers n think of best candidates so whenever we have that hand we feel confident enough to pull the trigger. Gl at tables!

great video. sick bluff with QTcc.
on 6647A in last slide of vid, u consider leading big u say. idk its interesting cuz we cud just bet big with our 6x+ since he capped and turn 4x into bluffs or bet smaller and turn mostly just floats into bluffs and balance with 6x, which accomplishes keeping SD for 4x. Might be best to bet big but dont think about doing that too much. its nice cuz if we do that, they can either fold their range, or call us at some frequency and get our 6x+ paid.
