I am not good at all at stud hi/lo but on 865ddd (09:00) that you get AcJc are you drawing good enough to continue there ? I found it pretty thin to keep calling a good reg on this game there specially in a 3b pot but you did not want to fold. We are drawing good to the low but the pot is still small enough that we can fold without hurting our stack and by his line we will face bets until the river very often.
Enjoyed the video. Was entertaining and enjoyed hearing your thought process in stud8. Got me very jealous and missing ability to play mix games online.
Got me thinking. How often do you think people team up in mixed games? Like a stud specialist plays those rounds and a big bet player takes over for those rounds. Is it even against the rules? If not it seems like quite an advantage.
@10:00 min mark. Question: you have almost all his blockers for you to scoop the high w/ AJ. So considering you have 658-AJ7-T, (his hand shows A5T8) which you have blockers for. Also, if you consider him a decent player, and you folded assuming he had you on the low meaning he started with xx-A--2 low cards not having a pair making him have a better low. The only card that could really hit him for the high is the last card making A) a pair B) Q,K, Which i feel you're getting odds to call considering AJ high could be good there with all your blockers.
And if your high isnt good because he started with say A5A/AxA, your low would be good or tie for low. Just don't see how 2.4k to win 16k/(8k) for half, you wouldnt call. Mehhh idk could be wrong, just want your opinion.
Thank you very much for your review, honestly I feel like your right and I am always looking to improve my game and certainly have spots that need improvements.
