Would you say Toms A7hh fold @40:00 was the worst among the 3 options? Thank you!

It's tough to tell. Fedor's hand is a pretty reasonable 3B bluff so we can't glean too much info about his actual range. If he's too wide then just blast it in becomes best (though it's somewhat unlikely he's 3betting that wide imo).

I think probably call>fold>AI unless fedor is way out of line then AI>>> everything else

yup, pretty much. I mean its a winning call too, but it probably has similar or slightly better EV 3betting

Hi Chris i would like to know what do you think about how Sontheimer player the hand on the sb (85o) . Do you think he planned a 3 barell bluff on any river? What are in your thoughts the main reasons he played a hand like that? Thanks

I don't know what to say really. I think he realizes that the board is good for him and that he needs to bluff all 3 streets w/ undercards to the board at least at some frequency.

I doubt steffen is the type of player to simply close his eyes and say "okay, no matter what happens after he calls flop we're just gonna tripple".

I don't think there's anything magical about 85o comapred to some other unpaired garbage if that's what you're asking though.

40:30 what about installing a BU limping strategy in Tom's shoes given ICM consideration? i think this is what i'd have preferred to keep pot small and not have to raise/fold A7s

50:00 should Fedor not use a raise-only strategy vs Tom due to the presence of short stack and how tight Tom must call PF and cautious post?

Great video. I'd be great if you could cut the in-between hands and non-interesting PF hands so they're less dead time. otherwise top content and analysis

Excellent series, Apotheosis
At 19:34, don't you think having an 8 is still bad? As he blocks some spade bluffs, and 4 combos of Q8( with 8 of spades Q8 is always probing turn and always bluffing river, which will likely follow through. So it blocks like 6-7 combos of bluffs . Only blocks 4 combos of value . So against a half pot size when Fedor will have 4 value combos per bluff. His hand should block 4x the value combos to be a neutral bluffcather. So I actually think it's a pretty bad bluffcather. Is this the right analysis or am I missing something ?
